Galliot Hotel Nha Trang

Upon check-in, we were told to check every item in the room against a list. We checked in after 10 PM, and we had to do their job for them. Cleaning was selective – just a towel and toiletries replacement. We personally had to ask the cleaners to replace our towels because not all of them were changed. Among the hygiene products, only toothbrushes were refreshed. They did take out the trash, so thanks for that. After floor cleaning, there were still hairs. It was as if they just wet the floor for show; you couldn't walk without slippers because your feet would get dirty immediately. There were stains everywhere: on the table, nightstand, and armchair. The photo with the noodles proves that our perfumes were touched, and they forgot to clean up (the noodles were on the bottle). The shower curtain in the bathroom was just for looks, as you could see everything through it from both the room and the bathroom, quite clearly. The refrigerator had a strong passion fruit smell, apparently from previous guests. Also, there was a huge amount of water inside – two 1.5L bottles and five 0.5L bottles – which meant the fridge didn't cool very well. One bedside lamp wasn't working. The rest of the appliances worked fine, and you could watch YouTube on the TV. The hairdryer worked despite the condition of its plug (last photo). The air conditioner worked but was dirty. Breakfast was average; the food rarely changed, and tables were for 6-8 people, so you often sat with strangers. They only asked for meal tickets on the third day. The breakfast staff were friendly and quickly cleared dirty dishes. Beach towels were not always available because the laundry didn't return them on time, as we were told. We had to rent them at the beach for a fee. Pros: hot water, a good pool, and you can sunbathe peacefully on the rooftop. Cons: cleaning. I'm giving it a 2/5 instead of 1 because they did change towels and take out the trash. If it's very cheap (maximum 500k VND), you could stay for a couple of nights. We had to check in during peak season, so it was unreasonably expensive (all other places were booked). Otherwise, it's better to look for another place. I won't be coming back here myself.

An inexpensive hotel on the third line. The downside was a creaky bed. The breakfasts were decent. There are many cafes and massage parlors nearby.

The breakfast was pretty good, and I have other experiences to compare it to. One of the women at the reception was very nice and always ready to help, but the others seemed preoccupied with other things. There were significant issues with the housekeeping; the towels weren't always changed, especially the foot towel which is usually wet, and they didn't always replenish the coffee. The cleaning itself wasn't great, and there were moth-like insects flying around every day. For two days, there were problems with the water – sometimes no cold water, sometimes no hot water.

We've stayed at the Galliot Hotel several times before because we like the spacious rooms and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is also quite good. However, the rooms are now quite worn out, and the air conditioning is very dirty. The breakfast is okay. The pool used to be quite clean, but unfortunately, it's now heavily over-chlorinated and dirty. We didn't feel very comfortable this time, which is a shame. Nevertheless, we wish them all the best.

Affordable, spacious room, good air conditioning, friendly staff, and the breakfast menu changes daily. Good location.

A good hotel in a very lively and noisy area, but there are shops, cafes, and restaurants nearby. The food is very tasty and affordable for any budget! We stayed for 3 nights! I wouldn't consider it for a longer stay. It's a 15-20 minute walk to the sea.

This hotel has everything you need for a good rest. The shower works well, but check-in at the reception takes a very long time. There's no shower screen, so water gets all over the bathroom floor after you shower. The TV reception is bad and the picture jumps. There was no balcony or windows. The price is as expected for what you get.
