We travelled as a family group of 5 adults. Sumantra Guest House was perfect for us. It's right in the centre of Ubud withh a pool, the staff are all bright and cheerful and eager to help and offer advice. The rooms are spacious and clean with a nice touch of having umbrellas in the wardrobes for when it rains. If I come back to Ubud, this is the place I'm going to stay.

Lovely stay here for 3 nights. Right in the busy part of town but set back and so quiet. Big room with large balcony and lots of light. Room with kettle/ fridge cleaned well every day, thank you Gune for looking after me so well. Breakfast usual fare but lots of fresh tropical fruits. Pool was sooo good!

I was so looking forward to a lovely Homestay in Ubud but it was not to be. Upon arrival I was not made to feel welcome at all. My horror started when I saw the shower I was expected to get into which was filthy and smelly. They do not show this in their photos. The bathroom was so run down, soap dish falling off the wall and no shower gel available. I tried to get over this but after getting into bed the air conditioner rattled so loud I had to get up and turn it off, but then the fan wouldn’t work and the fridge was so loud it was impossible to sleep. I got up and booked a new hotel as could not deal with this.

Excellent service, clean rooms, very nice and located right in Ubud. Close distance to everything and very reasonable prices. Won’t hesitate to stay there again, no issues at all. Also, the daily breakfast was very delicious and pools there were great

I stayed 3 nights in this resort. Breakfast was cooked upon order from menu. The taste is fantastic with few choices. Room spacious and clean with king size bed. Owner family also stay in the resort. The house was inherited 5 generations in Ubud. The locations is superb with many shops around sopping for fashions and clothing, massage, spa treatment, restaurants, money changer. There are 2 venues around to watch cultural show at lotus cafe and The palace at 100k per ticket

Na 3 weken Bali hadden wij als tussenstop voor de rit naar het vliegveld adhoc 2 kamers geboekt. Toen we in het straatje voor de deur stonden dachten we dat we voor een tempel stonden. Toch maar doorgelopen en dan betreed je werkelijk een paradijsje midden in de drukke binnenstad van Ubud. Prima kamer met airco en zelfs een keukentje. Schoon en goede bedden. Klein zwembad, maar ik denk wel ok, mooie en goed onderhouden tuin met CoiKarpers. Incl. Ontbijt. Eenvoudig, maar was voldoende voor ons. Super aardige en zeer behulpzame familie! Wij komen hier zeker weer eens terug! 🙏🏽 terima kasih lagi
