It’s honestly hard to understand how this hotel has a 9.1 rating — my experience was nowhere close to that level.
The biggest issue is cleanliness and housekeeping. There were stains on the pillow and even hair strands beneath the bedsheet, which clearly suggests the bedding wasn’t properly changed. We had specifically requested room cleaning, yet the bathroom was still not cleaned properly — our used toothbrush was left untouched, showing how superficial the cleaning actually was.
Basic amenities were shockingly missing. There was no handwash, no tissue paper, no extra bowls or cups provided. When we asked, we were told the restaurant was closed, which doesn’t justify the absence of such basic in-room essentials.
Even basic fixtures were not functional — the trash bin didn’t even have a foot pedal, forcing us to open it with our hands, which is extremely unhygienic (especially when there is no handwash provided).
The bed quality was poor, with a hard base and a mattress that kept shifting out of place. The corridors felt old, poorly maintained, and had an unpleasant smell, adding to the overall negative experience.
Breakfast was also disappointing — no labels on any dishes, so you have no idea what you’re eating or whether something is vegetarian or not. That’s a very basic expectation that wasn’t met.
Overall, this hotel feels completely misrepresented by its rating. It lacks basic hygiene, maintenance, and guest essentials. Would strongly advise others to avoid.
