Aviary Hanoi Hotel & Travel

The stay was pleasant. Service staff was friendly. However, the rooms can be maintained better. Was looking slightly run-down.

Overall a good stay. The room is decent, comfortable, and satisfies basic needs.

Edit after 5 days: really good ULTRA BUDGET hotel if you don’t mind a not so comfortable bed and possibly other creature comforts (if you’re looking for a proper hotel experience, LOOK ELSEWHERE). The outside of the hotel can be very dirty at times especially after raining but that comes with the amazing location I thought beds are usually this uncomfortable until I stayed at other hotels. Barely good enough to sleep if you’re used to comfortable beds. Has an issue with the remote after 2 days and they simply couldn’t fix it. So if you encounter issues, you might be on your own. That’s not to say that staff isn’t helpful. You’re just getting what you pay for Location is so perfect that I didn’t even bother with grab at all for most of Hanoi city attractions. It’s especially good on weekends when the major roads around the lake are closed for pedestrian. Receptionist was super accommodating and generous temporarily upgrading my “viewless” room which they totally don’t have to

I was unable to show room since i got message from the manager that my room is not ready due to aircondition breakdown and not able to get fixed on the same day and will be ready by tomorrow because of the public holiday. But i was assigned to the new hotel like 7mins walking from the aviary hotel. The new hotel is emissary hotel which is 4 star hotel. I was compensated room for three with free breakfast which is very good for me and my friend. Although the new hotel is not in the centre of crowded hanging out valley which is why i choose aviary. I think it is the best way because the area might be a little bit noisy because of loud music from clubs near to the hotel. So i will just show you a few picture from emissary hotel which i got assigned to stay. Then i realised i did not have the room picture because to exhausted.

This hotel is conveniently located at the heart of the old quarters. It is easy to access and move around in the area. Anna, the lady at the front desk is very friendly and helpful. She would go all the way to help and assist us in our queries and needs. We appreciate her assistance.

This is a rather old hotel but the location is very much in the middle of old quarters. Super convenient for street shopping and food and as well as massage. It's laid back in one of the alley and tour bus pick up is quite inaccessible so you gonna have to arrange to walk to the main roads with arrangements by your tour guide. Overall the stay is pretty much OK and the rooms are acceptable

We enjoyed our 3 nights stay here hotel staffs are nice and friendly.

A great stay with attentive receptionist Anna. The room and location was great. I will recommend this place if yiur are in Hanoi.
