The location is a big plus, with direct access to Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam downstairs, making shopping and dining very convenient! The subway and public bus stops downstairs are also super handy! The front desk staff were very friendly, but I'm quite annoyed that even though I explicitly requested to pay in KRW with my credit card, they still charged me in USD. Not only was the exchange rate worse than KRW, but they also added a significant transaction fee! The room service was also very thoughtful!

Returned for a second stay after a good first impression, but this last-minute booking was a letdown. The room was oddly much warmer than before, and the AC kept shutting off automatically. Disappointed with the sudden drop in comfort.

The location is great, very convenient. You can even go back to your room to drop off your shopping in the middle of a spree. New World Department Store is right downstairs. The artwork in the room is a bit spooky, and the room itself is a little dated, but the service attitude is excellent.
