Astypalia is a beautiful island. From the moment we got there, We were met by the owner Maria. She picked us up and took us to her suites. They are amazing. We would wake up every morning to a beautiful breakfast served in the villa. The staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. We also went on the most beautiful yacht owned by Maria and Mike, we got served an amazing lunch and swam in the most beautiful waters I would highly recommend staying at the grand mar suites thank you so much, Maria and Mike

It was a great experience. The hotel is perfect, the suites are very comfortable with tasteful and charming décor. There is everything we need to have a great stay. The beds are just perfect. Location is ideal, very close to the center of Chora and the restaurants. The views from the rooms are wonderful, the harbor, the sea and the whole Chora city (small one) are in front of us. Special mention for our host, Maria. So welcoming, so kind and she supported us for our activities (eg a wonderful boat cruise). Many thanks to you. Another special mention for her crew. The cooker prepared marvelous breakfasts with typical greek meals. It was more than delicious, the breakfasts were a lovely moment every morning, The woman in charge of cleaning was very attentive and everything was perfect, right down to the little details that make all the difference. Many thanks and It goes without saying that we’ll be back. Just a small word about the island. Peaceful, not crowded, very beautiful.

My husband and I were blown away by this property! We were able to stay in 2 of the 3 units and literally couldn’t believe our eyes. Every detail is gorgeous and well thought out, the view is insane and the service was impeccable. I loved the products! Breakfast is brought to you daily when you request and it’s so much delicious food. They were able to book transportation for us, reservations for dinner and boat trips. plus, they gave us great ideas for day trips around the island. I’m already planning to go back with friends...hopefully this time next year!

This place was unreal! The best place to catch the sunsets and sunrises just from your balcony with views of the entire town! Captain Mike and his wife Maria were amazing hosts from being our personal drivers to making sure we saw the very best of the island! I will definitely be back and stay at the GrandeMar on this beautiful island!

Stunning stay in this villa. Great service, superb location, exceptional views, impeccable all round. We were so well looked after by Maria and this villa is a must see. Highly recommended and an outstanding place.

I feel so lucky to have discovered and spend a couple of days at this exquisite villa with spacious rooms, great living spaces indoor and outdoors. Every last detail has been carefully selected and thought out, from the design of the furniture to the toiletries, the pillows and comfortable mattresses to the Netflix equipped TV. Michalis and Maria, the owners are so hospitable and caring, so thoughtful and full of positive energy. A place to remember and to recommend!

I highly recommend this place!!!I had an incredible stay at GrandeMar Suits.The room was very chic and clean, I loved the design of the place and the bed was very comfortable!!The staff was so friendly and helpful!!Surpass my expectations!!I wish I could stay more..!!

This is the place!! From the moment we got off the plane and were met by Maria, our stay at GrandeMar Suites was magical. The accommodations are beyond compare. We stayed at 5 hotels/resorts on our trip to Croatia and Greece, and GrandeMar was by far the best, most beautiful, well-appointed, clean, and well serviced. Everything worked perfectly and the details and design were impeccable. Amazing breakfasts!! Incredible views. Book the Gold rate and take the included day-long yacht excursion with Mike. One of the best, most generous boating trips ever!! Mike knows all the secret spots around the island... we stopped at four incredible, memorable locations, had a delicious lunch, and enjoyed a luxurious seven-hour cruise and swimming. The boat is lovingly cared for, clean, with all the amenities. A life-time highlight for me. And now, Astypalaia. One word sums it up: original!! Raw beauty, unspoiled, and authentic. If you want the real island experience, come to Astypalaia! Georgeous waters, clean beaches, the town of Chora is amazing, and the food is so fresh. We stayed four nights.. but I wish we had stayed longer. Maria and Mike's commitment to their guests was truly a stand-out in all our travels. I felt like I was treated like family.
