Amgun Hotel Ulaanbaatar

Convenient location, just a 30-minute drive from Chinggis Khaan Airport. Good breakfast, and the room looks just like the photos. The only downsides were the weak water pressure and the poor drainage in the shower.

It's quite clean. The toilet even had a bidet. The refrigerator was a convenient addition. Breakfast was delicious too.

The hotel's hygiene was an issue; the bedding wasn't clean. We had to use our own disposable covers. There's nothing much around outside, but there's a CU convenience store downstairs. The soundproofing in the hotel is poor. There's no lock inside the room. Breakfast offers no variety; it's the same single option every day.

Traffic in Ulaanbaatar is terrible, so we stayed at Amgun Hotel Ulaanbaatar for one night to get some extra sleep before our flight the next day. The hotel offers airport shuttle booking for 100,000 MNT, and it only took 20 minutes to get there, which was very convenient. Everything else in the room was fine, except for a design flaw in the shower area that causes water to leak out easily. To make matters worse, the showerhead in our room was broken—water was spraying wildly out of two holes on opposite sides, making it practically unusable.

It is close to the airport with very convenient access. Having a café and a convenience store on the first floor is super handy. I stayed here the night before my flight back home, and when I asked for a 4:00 AM airport drop-off, they readily agreed. The room was impeccably clean, and I had a very comfortable stay. I was initially assigned a room without an air conditioner, but when I asked for one with AC, they switched me to a new room right away. I would definitely love to stay here again.

Its proximity to the airport is a huge plus, allowing for easy access without getting stuck in traffic. There's also a convenience store on the first floor.

The hotel is far from the city center, but relatively close to Chinggis Khaan International Airport. We only booked for one night because we had an early morning flight. The hotel staff called a taxi for us early in the morning for 150,000 tugriks. The room was spacious, clean, and modern. It's ideal for a layover/transfer.
