Hotel Mi Rochor

I chose the Hotel Mi Rochor for my trip to Singapore with my mom, and we had a great stay in a double room! **Environment:** It's a two-minute walk from Rochor MRT station and about a 10-minute walk from Bugis MRT station, making it super convenient to take the subway to attractions like Marina Bay Sands, Clarke Quay, the Old Hill Street Police Station, and Chinatown. The transportation is excellent, and there are two 7-Eleven convenience stores downstairs. **Service:** The service was incredibly warm and welcoming. Helen at the front desk checked us in smoothly in both Chinese and English. She even gave us a free Chinese map of Singapore and enthusiastically explained transportation routes. All the staff members were very polite. **Facilities:** The hotel room was a little on the small side, but the facilities were complete and very new. You don't even need to bring a travel adapter. There's a swimming pool right below the hotel, and many people were using it in the morning. **Cleanliness:** The room was very clean, and staff came to clean it regularly every day.

My family of three stayed at this hotel in Singapore for four days and three nights. We didn't purchase the hotel breakfast, and there weren't many dining options nearby; McDonald's was about a ten-minute walk away. The hotel's hygiene was good, and the staff were polite. It's located at Rochor station, and it only takes a minute to walk from the hotel to the MRT station, which is very convenient. You can expect hotel rooms in Singapore not to be very spacious; once you open your suitcase, there's really just a narrow path left. The hotel has a swimming pool, but no lifeguard, so if you have children playing there, remember to keep a close eye on them. Most of the guests were foreigners or Indians. I saw other reviews mentioning that the soundproofing wasn't great, but my family and I are light sleepers, and we weren't disturbed at all.

The hotel was pretty average, but clean. Didn't spot any cockroaches 🪳. It's not far from the city's attractions, which makes getting around easy, but the price is a bit high, so it's not great value for money. If you book this hotel and plan on using public transport, make sure to take the TD Blue Line. Get off at Rochor A exit, and the hotel is right across the street. Don't follow your navigation if it tells you to go via Bukit Interchange; you'll end up walking a long way on a poorly maintained road due to construction.

Although the room was small, it had all the necessary facilities and enough space. The queen-size bed allowed for movement on both sides, which is decent for Singapore. The front desk upgraded me to a city view room. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the MRT, making it convenient to get anywhere.

Excellent location, with a subway station just 100 meters from the hotel entrance. The front desk staff speak Chinese, so communication was seamless. The hotel is newly opened with perfect facilities and amenities. The air conditioning was powerful and much-needed in Singapore! I will definitely 100% consider this hotel again on my next trip to Singapore!
