Seashells Phu Quoc Hotel & Spa

The hotel is located by the sea in the Central District, very close to the airport and a quick taxi ride upon landing. The high-floor balcony room was spacious and clean, with no mosquitoes or unpleasant odors. The king-size bed was comfortable, the pillows and duvet were clean, and amenities were adequate, including a coffee machine. Watching the sunset from the balcony was very romantic. Breakfast was good with nice coffee, and we could head straight to the pool for a swim right after. The swimming pool was nice and clean. The hotel is just a few walks away from the night market, and there are many massage parlors nearby at reasonable prices. The largest King Kong Market is also not far away. Near King Kong Market, there is the OCSEN Beach Bar where you can watch a fire dance show; it's affordable, entertaining, interactive, and has an amazing atmosphere—highly recommended. When returning to the hotel late at night, there are small convenience stores at the corner where you can buy instant noodles for a late-night snack. Being in the Central District, it's convenient to go to Sunset Town in the south or Grand World in the north. The hotel is quite new, the staff are friendly, and it offers great value for money.

This is our second stay here. The location is fantastic, right in the central area with very convenient transportation and close to the VinBus station, making it easy to travel to both the northern and southern parts. It takes only 20 minutes to get to the airport. The breakfast is rich with plenty of choices, and the BBQ buffet is an incredible value for money at just 590,000 VND, complete with a live band! There's a swimming pool and a beach, and the sunset views are stunning. The staff are very attentive, and the hotel is spotlessly clean!

Close to the Phu Quoc Night Market. The infinity pool allows you to enjoy breakfast while swimming, or take in the stunning views at sunset. The rooms are relatively spacious, the breakfast is rich with plenty of options, and there is a free shuttle service to the airport. Unfortunately, we were assigned to the 2nd floor, so the view was just average. A higher floor would have offered a much broader and better perspective.

The hotel breakfast was good, and the best part is definitely the infinity pool connected directly to the beach. You have to experience it at sunset—it's breathtaking! There is a free airport shuttle both ways, which is much more comfortable than taking a Grab. The location in the central area is very convenient, and the bed is huge! However, the in-room hardware facilities are lacking. While cleanliness was fine, the toilet flushing mechanism was very poor, the shower water alternated between hot and cold, and there were only two power outlets, which is far too few.

The Shell Hotel's exterior is easy to spot. The hotel pool is incredibly photogenic and great for taking stunning pictures. The atmosphere is private and quiet, and there is a night market nearby, though it's not very cost-effective. The hotel offers a spa, and check-in comes with a complimentary 20-minute sauna session. Overall, it's a pretty good experience, but for a five-star hotel, the service falls a bit short compared to others. The breakfast variety is decent, though.
