Waiting Century Hotel (Shanghai Jing'an Railway Station)

+ The hotel is very close to Shanghai Railway station. Just 8 minutes of walk. + Very convenient to get to the tourist attractions like the Bund and Nanjing Road pedestrian street. Either with the subway or buss 64. +The bed was comfortable. +They have a laundry room which is good, - Something must have been wrong with the drying machine. The laundry was still very damp despite three hours in the dryer so we had to hang the clothes in the room. - I found the smart toilet uncomfortable. I tried to adjust the water jet, reading the manual using a translator app, but the water jet was still misplaced, too hard and cold. + The tea and the servis in the room was very cute and I enjoyed drinking the tea 😃 - The power chord of the kettle was too short to reach the outlet.🤔 I had to put a cup underneath. - Sometimes I could sense a smell of cigarette smoke or odor of sewer in the room coming back to the room after a day out. It disappeared after turning on the ventilation/AC

Amazing hotel, great facilities and staff. 100% recommend. Near to famous attractions such as The Bund and Nanjing Road, only 15 mins away and right in front of Shanghai Railway Station!

So far best experience in China. Clean and spotless room. Quiet sleep. Free soda and water.

Super clean hotel with lovely housekeeping staff who greet guests daily and even give weather tips like bringing an umbrella. I'm highly impressed with the service here; the front desk team is also very friendly and helpful. Great location—close to the Shanghai High-Speed Railway Station and just 2-3 km from The Bund.

Room a bit small, but for the price, can’t complain. Located in good location with convenient stores and subway station within 10 mins walk.

This hotel is good and modern. Clean and well looked after. The staff here are very nice and friendly. The TV is big and there is a small fitness room that has a set of weights, one bench and a treadmill. Notes The toilet is overly fancy and causes a lot of light. It uses buttons for everything and I had to translate them. At night the light changes colour and is very disruptive to sleep. I unplugged it at night to stop this. The location is fine but nothing really in the area other than the train station, however Shanghai is a bit like that anyway.

YIxiao at front desk has been very helpful. She helped us with our didi ordering of transport. This hotel is near the Tian An Thousand tree mall. Great for quiet shopping and meals.
