Commodore Hotel Busan

The hotel has a strong ethnic charm, featuring plenty of Chinese elements in both its exterior and interior design. The rooms are spacious and relatively clean. A bit of an inconvenience is that the hotel does not provide disposable toiletries such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, combs, or slippers, so you need to buy them yourself.

Conveniently located near Busan Station, this hotel boasts a unique Korean cultural charm. It's very clean and suitable for business travelers. Please note that toiletries are not complimentary, so it's advisable to bring your own.

The bathroom lacks air conditioning and an exhaust fan, but everything else meets a 4-star standard, especially the excellent restaurant.

The room was very spacious and nice.

The hotel's hygiene was really poor. When I pulled back the covers, it felt like the sheets hadn't been changed. However, the hotel is very close to Busan KTX Station, a 5400 KRW taxi ride away, and it's also not a long walk. There's a convenience store right across from the hotel.

This is a formerly well-known local hotel. We were not informed at check-in that the minibar in the room was not complimentary; we only found out upon checkout and had to pay over 100. It is recommended that guests be reminded of this in advance at check-in.

Apart from the fact that it's hard to get a taxi in Busan and walking up the steep hills made me question my life choices, the room was very large and brand new. The hotel has a distinct Korean style, and they were hosting many Korean tour groups on the day we checked in. There aren't many places to eat around the area, but the off-season room rate offered great value for money. Very clean!
