PANAMA Nha Trang Hotel

Sea view room with a balcony (hooks on the balcony for drying clothes). Each person gets two pillows. Room cleaning is done daily and is good, towels are changed every day, and linens approximately every 3 days. Breakfast is varied and delicious, with fruits, coffee, and tea – you definitely won't go hungry. I've attached photos of the sea view from the 22nd floor.

I don't understand where all these positive reviews come from. We stayed at 4 different hotels in Nha Trang, two of which were in the city center. I'll say right away that Panama was the worst option, even though we had high hopes for it based on the reviews. Let's start with the downsides: 1. You only get one key card per room. When you leave, there's no electricity, and the AC turns off. When you come back after a walk, the room is stuffy and unbearable. We asked for an extra card but were denied. The AC doesn't work without a card – when we asked why, they pretended not to understand. 2. There seem to be 4 elevators, but there's always a queue, and they stop on almost every floor. Getting to your floor is quite an ordeal. 3. There's no ventilation or air conditioning in the elevators. It's so stuffy that it's unbearable to be in them; you feel like you might pass out from lack of air. 4. The restaurant is on the 3rd floor. In my opinion and taste, the breakfast doesn't deserve 5 stars, maybe three at most. Among all the hotels, this was the worst option for food. The exhaust fans in the restaurant seem to work poorly; after breakfast, your clothes and hair absorb all the cooking smells. 5. The room size is very small, literally about 10m². There's some kind of dampness inside. 6. It's impossible to shower without flooding the bathroom floor. The bathtub is designed in such a way that the edges protrude, and there's a gap between the wall and the tub, so everything drains onto the floor. 7. The soap, shower gel, and shampoo are all the same, like cheap bulk liquid hand soap, and they have a terrible, peculiar smell. 8. The toothpaste in the kit is a joke, just some white paste of unknown origin. 9. Towels. The large bath towel, which is standard in all hotels, turned out to be small. We really didn't understand what the problem with the towels was. 10. The overall impression is simply terrible. It's unclear where all these glowing reviews come from? On the plus side, it's the hotel's location. Everything is nearby, but for example, in the same price range, we stayed at Citadines, which is nearby on the first line, and that hotel is head and shoulders above Panama.

The hotel was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING: 1) Terrible breakfast – the coffee was awful and there was minimal selection. Absolutely no food options for children. The waiters rudely cleared dishes from our table without asking. 2) No space in the room to dry beachwear. There were mold stains on the roll-up blind in the bathroom, the toilet leaked underneath, and the door lock was broken. 3) The room windows were very dirty, clearly not cleaned in a long time. The bathroom window was disgustingly grimy. 4) Only four elevators for the entire hotel, meaning waits of up to 5 minutes. 5) The pool water was dirty, apparently not cleaned properly. No towels available in the evening. 6) The worst part was the front desk staff. We wanted to check out early, but they rudely refused, crassly stating that for an early checkout and refund, we'd need to provide some unspecified documents. They also refused to move us to another room. Seriously, think a thousand times before staying here; you'll definitely ruin your vacation.

The hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center, making it incredibly convenient to get around, and it's a standalone building, so you don't have to share space with other businesses. I booked the most basic twin room, and it was spacious enough, but the bathroom didn't have a separate shower, so showering in the tub was a bit inconvenient. Also, the toothpaste in the complimentary toiletries didn't foam at all, which was quite annoying. The hotel breakfast was just okay, nothing special, with limited choices. However, the soundproofing in the room was great; once the windows were closed, it was very quiet, allowing for a good night's sleep! The doormen and concierge were extremely polite, always helping with luggage and opening doors when taking a taxi, which was a fantastic experience! For a transitional stay in the city, I think this room is perfectly fine. But if you're truly looking for a vacation experience, I'd recommend booking a higher-category room.

The hotel was very clean, and the service was excellent. The sea-view room offered a beautiful view.

The location is great. There's an ATM to the left when you exit, and the fruit and smoothies at the intersection are the cheapest I've seen in several cities. It's also not far from Lotte Mart. Just cross the street and you're at the beach. The room was small, and breakfast was just okay.

Huge thanks to the front desk lady who assisted me on the 22nd, and the two gentlemen at the front desk on the 23rd during the day. My luggage was delayed due to an airline issue, and I kept bothering them about it. They were incredibly patient and friendly, helping me resolve the problem. The hotel rooms are also excellent, clean and tidy. If I have the chance to visit again, I would definitely choose this hotel.
