Eldis Regent Hotel

I recently stayed at a hotel in Daegu and had a wonderful experience. The hotel offers a superb view, making the stay even more enjoyable and relaxing. One of the best things about this hotel is its strategic location — it is conveniently surrounded by several tourist attractions, all within walking distance. This made exploring the city very easy and stress-free. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was pleasant. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Daegu, especially for those who appreciate a great view and easy access to nearby attractions.

Quite nice hotel and same as the photo. One thing to articulate is about the sound-proofing. Easy to hear other guests in and out to their rooms.

Good it was amazing literally also the best location the bar downstairs was highly recommendable too and the lounge is hands down the best pick for couple date everything in one place all in one what should I write more I'm kinda done with it urg

Great Location and kind services the hotel room was clean and cozy. Our room had a great city view.   The bathroom layout is a bit weird, but it was ok for a short trip. 

The hotel has a new wing and an old wing (east and west). We stayed at the new, West wing. The views were terrific, straight, open views to the cityscape and the intersection. Although there is a condo right across the street that aroused some privacy concerns so we slept with the curtains closed. The gym is on the top floor, and is accessible from the 19th floor by stairs. It has some cardio machines, some free weights, and a smith machine. The location of the hotel is nice. It's within a walkable distance to a few historic sites like Chungna Hills and a traditional market. And a few stations away from hip streets like Dongsungro. Now for the negatives - the first room we checked into, about 1/2 the outlets were not working so they had us switch to another room. The second room the TV was not working but we didn't want to move again so we decided to stay. This pretty much ruined the experience for us.

Very nice room but a few maintenance matters: the window would not shut properly, the room safe didn't work, and the door made a terrible sound. Elevators were not properly marked, for example one of the three is labeled for service to floors 1-14 but actually goes higher than 14. I did not report these because I was busy and also not confident of staff's English abilities, which is quite typical for domestic-owned/branded hotels in Korea. The first smile I saw from staff during a 3-day stay was at checkout. The jazz bar was closed on a weekend, possibly permanently, can't tell.
