Pickalbatros Aqua Park Resort - Hurghada

We just returned from a family trip to Hurghada with our two children, and everything was absolutely perfect. The hotel complex is excellent and very well-maintained. We particularly enjoyed the entertainment, which was top-notch: the team created a great atmosphere and kept both kids and adults entertained without ever being intrusive. Everything was 'spotless', from the service to the quality of the facilities. We highly recommend this destination for a relaxing and successful family vacation.

The Korean palate will find the food here quite satisfactory. There are also over four restaurants, offering a fun variety of dining options. The facilities are clean and well-maintained. The pool isn't bad either. It's a decent standard for an all-inclusive resort. However, the staff are Egyptian, so it's difficult to expect the level of service typically found elsewhere. It's more like the gruff but earnest service you might have experienced in Korea during the 70s and 80s. People who are sensitive to service might find it quite uncomfortable. It seems like a good place to bring kids, as there are many children's programs.

The kids absolutely loved it. There were plenty of great activities, including VR. The food was just okay. It was mainly Caucasians, with very few Asians, and we only occasionally saw other Chinese people. Freshly squeezed juice was only available sometimes.

Great water facilities for all ages, the hotel is quite large, and the food is decent. It offers good value for money and is a 10-minute walk from the beach. Almost all the guests are Westerners, with very few Asian faces!

This is my first bad review of this hotel. They seriously discriminate against Chinese people! They said they'd upgrade our room, but we ended up in the far corner of the hotel. The balcony was completely surrounded by air conditioner units and the main road. The room smelled musty. The luggage delivery guy kept asking for a tip, and even after I gave him one, he still thought it wasn't enough! Someone even banged on the door next door for over an hour in the middle of the night! The front desk completely ignored our every request, and none of the three room cards we gave him would open the door! It's outrageous! Thankfully, Ctrip was reliable and helped us resolve the issue! Afraid! Afraid! Afraid!

The water park is great, the queue is a little long but it's fun. The soundproofing and heat insulation of the room are very good, each area has an independent swimming pool, turn off the air conditioner before going to bed and it's very cool all night, the only downside is that the air conditioner is very noisy, there are some mosquitoes in the room but there is no mosquito repellent. There are 3-4 buffet restaurants, the variety is quite rich, but the taste is not good.

The hotel is very large. We stayed in a room on the first floor. The overall environment was relatively clean. However, when we first checked in, we found several hairs on the sink in the toilet. The room was dimly lit. The food in the restaurant was not tasty. During outdoor activities, we could see the staff cleaning all the time. This hotel is very suitable for bringing children to play various amusement facilities. It is far from the hotel's own beach and there are many people. You can either take a shuttle bus or walk there.
