Vinpearl Resort & Spa Phu Quoc

A wonderful and relaxing stay! We had a great time at Vinpearl Resort & Spa. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing, and we ended up dining at the hotel every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food prices are very reasonable and comparable to outside tourist spots. The pool is amazingly huge, and I really enjoyed renting a seabob/scuba jet—it was great value at just 550,000 VND for 30 minutes! The beach is absolutely beautiful, with incredibly fine sand that makes a unique "singing" squeaking sound as you walk on it. I’ve visited many great beaches around the world, but this one is truly special

the beauty of this place is that the staff judges you the moment you step out of your vehicle. this will form the basis of your entire visit. we opted for the airport pick up whereby we had to wait like fools in the hot sun with only a bottle of water provided. the first slap to the face was upon boarding the ride. the driver was so rude and demanded everyone to write down their full names and birthday. he had to be satisfied with our answers before he would drive off and offered no explanation why this information was needed. following next was the arrival at the hotel. no assistance nor welcome. staff just standing around giggling among themselves. ladies and guys all same. not a single soul bothered. treated like a criminal the moment stepped in. they only decided to open doors and assist you if you are seen as a human being worth their time (aka white). rushed to them to help with bags and open doors. offering them each a welcome drink. disgusting worship behavior in this year and age. the reception was another disaster. very slow and will drop everything midway to satisfy a white customer. failure to provide any clear instructions is one thing. giving conflicting instructions really is the epitome of our visit. reception told us water is available while when we tried to take some near the reception, another lady ran to us to stop us and told us to go to the bar to fill. as expected, the lady at the bar told us it is chargeable. i have to also add that the only thing they made clear to us is to ensure that we knew that if we broke any rules in the hotel, we would have to pay and they spent some time telling us the charges like we were a bunch of criminals. at the end of checkout, they told us to stand one side and wait for 5 min and if no one comes to us, we are free to go. the property itself is beautiful but extremely dated. toilet flush and pressure extremely weak. will recommend anyone reading this to seriously sit down and reconsider booking this accommodation. the beach was beautiful though. extremely extremely unhappy with the staff and will never in good faith recommend this place to even my worst enemy.

Stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights. The location is near Da Tang All Day, so it's convenient if you plan to visit that area — but it's not within walking distance, so you'll need your own transport or to call the car shuttle.

Nice Hotel. With many amenities. Good location near grand world Phu Quoc and Vin Wonders.  Complimentary transfer from and to the airport.  Very nice and clean atmosphere.
