DoubleTree by Hilton Guangzhou

This used to be my company's corporate hotel for business trips, and this time I brought my child along. They upgraded us to a high-floor room, and the entire experience was fantastic! A special thanks to Jasmine, who was incredibly thoughtful and patient. I'll definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in Guangzhou.

The hotel's location is excellent, especially since I was visiting Sanyuan Palace this trip. Booking this hotel made it incredibly convenient to get there. From my window, I had a great view of Baiyun Mountain and Yuexiu Mountain in the distance, a truly expansive vista. The room was clean and tidy. A pleasant surprise was receiving freshly baked oatmeal cookies from the front desk upon check-in!

Huge thanks to Jasmine for the warm welcome! She helped me upgrade to an Executive King Room. The hotel is very clean, and the location is excellent.

The hotel is okay, but it's quite old and has clearly seen better days. We requested a non-smoking room, but they put us in a 'smoking room' – it reeked of stale cigarette smoke! We didn't bother changing rooms since we were only staying for a couple of nights. The staff was good. I'd recommend looking for a more modern hotel.

The location is great, making it convenient to get everywhere. However, the in-room facilities are quite old, and the ventilation system is pretty mediocre. There was a strange smell in the room that took a long time to dissipate. I'd suggest the hotel provide air purifiers for the rooms. Also, the hairdryer in my room was faulty. Overall, the price feels a bit high. Aside from these issues, everything else was good.

This is always my go-to choice every time I visit Guangzhou. It's an established brand with excellent service and spacious rooms. But what really stands out are the warm and wonderful Jasmine and Wendy. On the day I checked in, my flight arrived very late and I was feeling a bit hungry. I just mentioned it in passing, and Wendy kindly brought me a thoughtful fruit pack. I was truly touched by their kindness.

Molly, the Guest Relations Manager, was incredibly warm, thoughtful, and attentive, making me feel right at home. After checking out, Molly even called to ask about my stay, showing great follow-up. It's clear the hotel's management and training are top-notch, fostering such professional attitudes and dedication across all positions.
