PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, Singapore

Hotels in Singapore are quite expensive compared to China. I chose Parkroyal Collection for its excellent location, and with a sea view room, you can see the Marina Bay Sands. Plus, the hotel's design is amazing, blending humans with nature, and you can even hear birds (they have bird cages), making you feel like you're in the midst of nature. The hotel is also right next to the subway, so transportation is convenient.

The breakfast was excellent. The lobby is grand and uniquely designed. The room was bare, with no complimentary snacks or amenities. Our room had a connecting door to the next, and we could hear laughter from the other side. I hope to get an upgrade next time if I visit again!

The hotel staff were all very friendly and tried their best to meet guests' needs. The hotel is close to the museum and Merlion, making it convenient for sightseeing. It's also connected to Marina Square shopping mall, which in turn connects to the larger Suntec City next door, so dining and shopping are all within easy reach. The only minor hiccup was that when I checked in, it was past the official check-in time but the room wasn't ready yet, however, the front desk staff were proactive in resolving it. Overall, I was very satisfied.

You can walk to both Merlion Park and Marina Bay from here. Plus, it's directly connected to a mall, so shopping is a breeze. You can even get to the station without going outside, making the location absolutely perfect.

The hotel's overall environment is great, with a very stylish design. The room size is quite generous, no problem at all opening a 28-inch suitcase, and there's even a small balcony. Aside from the sink and shower drainage being a bit slow, everything else was fine. Plus, the two beds can be pushed together easily thanks to the wheels underneath, which is quite convenient. The breakfast was also very rich and definitely worth the price. Not only does the front desk offer Chinese-speaking service, but the dining area does too, which is super convenient for those who aren't very confident with English. Finally, regarding the location, it's about a 10-minute walk to the Merlion and a 2-minute walk to the DUCKtour. Other nearby attractions are also very close, and there's a large shopping mall right next door, making dining and shopping very accessible as well.

I stayed in an Urban Suite and it was very comfortable, especially having two bathrooms. The complimentary soft drinks and snacks in the mini-fridge were a nice bonus. The pool temperature was also pleasantly warm. The champagne service during cocktail hour at the club lounge and the room service food were both excellent. Since my flight was a night flight, the guaranteed late check-out was a much-appreciated perk. I would definitely love to stay here again if I have the chance. Overall, it was excellent.

The hotel's location is quite convenient, with easy access to shops and amenities nearby. It's also just a 10-15 minute walk to Marina Bay Sands shopping mall! The hotel facilities and hygiene conditions are also very good!
