Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa, Singapore

We booked a sea-view room, and the scenery was lovely. The facilities are a bit old, but they are well-maintained. They have a water slide and a children's pool, which the kids loved. You can also rent sand-digging tools and boats by the beach. However, check-in took quite a while, and it took ages for anyone to answer the room phone, so the service efficiency was a bit low. The breakfast was also a bit underwhelming compared to other hotels we've stayed at.

The kids loved it, and it was pretty good! Getting around the island is very convenient. Shangri-La has a shuttle service to VivoCity. We got a call around 3:30 PM saying our room was ready. They also have their own private beach.

The room was spacious, and we were able to push the twin beds together and cover them with a large sheet. The hotel pool was clean and had a slide for kids, which was a nice touch. They also offered free paddle boats by the beach. On the downside, the women's shower room by the pool didn't have a hairdryer, and the buffet dinner was just average.

The room wasn't huge, and the bathroom was quite small, but the food was really good, and the ambiance was fantastic. The kids had a blast! 🥳 Room service portions were generous and reasonably priced.

Great for kids! The room itself was a bit dated, but the location and outdoor facilities were excellent. We even saw peacocks sometimes, haha!

The sea view is amazing, making it easy and convenient for families with kids and elderly to visit. Public transport within Sentosa is completely free, and the drivers are very friendly and enthusiastic. Although the rooms are a bit old, they are very clean and comfortable. We will definitely choose this hotel again next time! 🏨

The room, though a bit dated, was well-maintained and the ambiance was lovely, really giving off those vacation vibes. However, the overall service quality definitely needs improvement, especially the breakfast staff. Ms. Stephanie, in particular, was incredibly impatient and frowning when we asked to move to a table closer to the buffet. She even seemed to be a supervisor, and I can't imagine what kind of example she sets for the other staff. The usual welcoming smiles you expect from hotel service were completely absent with her. We had just come from the Mandarin Oriental, and the contrast in service was night and day. I highly recommend the Mandarin Oriental – their attention to detail and overall service quality are truly exceptional.

The room amenities are quite dated, comparable to a domestic 3-star hotel. The overall experience was inconvenient. The bathroom sink had a shower-style faucet with low water pressure. The front desk staff provided very average service; they lacked the proactiveness I've come to expect from city hotels. Even the Chinese-speaking cleaning staff didn't greet us when we passed by. We paid over 3000 during the summer, and while the natural environment was amazing – we saw large lizards every day – the room facilities and staff quality felt like a much worse value compared to staying in the city.
