Xiting Hotel (Shanghai Jing'an Railway Station Branch)

I booked the Xiting Hotel but ended up staying at the Weiting. The Xiting has a separate entrance next door, while the Weiting uses the main entrance. The front desk eventually switched my room to the Weiting. The room was clean and had a smart system, though it only controlled the lights and curtains. The only downside was that the room required going up and down steps, which wasn't ideal for someone with a lot of luggage. It's close to the Shanghai Metro station and train station. There's a laundry room and a gym. At night, I had to wait in line for the washing machine, and the dryer ran for an hour but still didn't completely dry my clothes. I was so tired that I just took them back to my room to hang. I stayed for so many days but only managed to do laundry once because I didn't have time to wait for the dryer. The washing machine system is a bit unusual; I hope they provide clearer instructions. A foreigner even asked me how to use it and where to put the detergent.

The front desk service was excellent – warm and attentive. The room was clean and hygienic, and the overall environment was quite good. I especially liked that the lobby offered complimentary welcome candies, bottled water, and self-service coffee. Highly recommended!

The environment is great. We booked a duplex room, all with large beds, and the space was pretty good. The front desk lady was also very enthusiastic and helped us book discounted breakfast. The breakfast was also very good with a good variety of options.

The room was great and the front desk staff were very friendly. Highly satisfied!
