Melia Hanoi

I had a generally comfortable and satisfying stay at Meliá Hanoi. The room was well-maintained, and I was pleased with the bedding and overall room condition. The hotel's location was also convenient for getting to Hanoi's main attractions, making it a good base for my trip. My only disappointment was the swimming pool facilities. While the pool's atmosphere and space weren't bad, the overall facilities and surrounding equipment felt a bit dated. Given that the hotel's basic quality, including the rooms and service, was satisfactory, I believe a renovation of the swimming pool and other amenities would provide an even more complete hotel experience. Overall, it's a hotel with the advantages of clean, comfortable rooms and a good location, but the swimming pool facilities left something to be desired.

Excellent, absolutely fantastic, and highly recommended. I'd encourage everyone to book. It's one of the top hotels in Hanoi, in my opinion, and it's incredibly convenient for getting around.

As expected of Melia. Flawless service, beautiful rooms. The location is far from the Bia Hoi area, but we were able to walk to the lake with the turtles, and we strolled back from Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, visiting art museums and Train Street along the way. We spoke with the general manager, who was from Spain, and he seemed trustworthy. The *** on the premises can be accessed from the lobby via a private entrance. It's small, but it was fun to play, like being in an arcade.

The service was satisfactory, and I thoroughly enjoyed the luxurious breakfast buffet. Being able to walk to the Old Town and having plenty of Starbucks and cafes nearby meant I never had a dull moment.

A lovely hotel located in the old town area. I heard Kim Jong Un even stayed here, lol. Taxis are so cheap you can go anywhere. It was clean and nice.

The hospitality and location were truly excellent. However, the sink water barely drained, so I had to wait a long time for it to go down (I'm sure the cleaner knew about this). Also, on the first day after check-in, I found a bunch of hair that had been cleaned up and left in the toilet. These two issues really need to be addressed. Except for these, everything and everyone in the hotel were extremely wonderful for me.

The hotel boasts a central location, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and meeting business partners. The Deluxe room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and relatively good soundproofing, perfect for a short business trip. The check-in staff and operational support were quick and professional. Overall, the services and facilities maintained a good standard, making it a reliable choice for a stay in Hanoi.

The hotel is about a 10-minute ride from Hoan Kiem Lake, so I mainly used Grab or cyclos to get around. It's not too close to the bustling city center, so it wasn't noisy, which was a good location. I chose Meliá because it was more spacious than other hotels nearby, and I'm very satisfied.
