Ramses Hilton

1) Came for check in at 5 pm but still room was not ready. The reason given was I did not mention smoking or non-smoking room. 2) The bathroom floor was extremely old style and very dirty. 3) The bath tub had foldable glass doors which never closed completely and water fell on the floor everytime had a bath. 4) Therebwere totally 4 table/bedside lamps. 1 was blinking and the other 2 bedside lamps had a switch which only the hotel employees could switch on and off 5) Carpet was very dirty at some places. 6) It appeared they purposely allotted this room as I had argued about the room not being ready even at 5.00 pm 7) No toothbrush or comb or paste in the bathroom. 8) Priced so expensive but quality was not worth the price.

The view from the room is one of the best in Cairo Rooms are super clean Staff are polite and professional Location is great But the furniture is outdated Good wifi Parking there costs 300 LE / Day And the entrance can get busy during its popularity I stayed at Hilton Tower too which is 10 min away from this and liked the other one more

Rooms were dated and amenities old; but good indian restaurant (and others) on the first two floors. Overall good bargain for good security - they have a ****** so all bags are scanned before entry. They also have a souvenir shop where they do not price gouge as much as khan el khalili

Take note of the booking name must be the same as passport. The hotel look aged but still well maintained and has a money changer at the lobby. Great plus

It has a good view of the Nile river. Their service is great, especially security team and luggage team are excellent. Just one thing is that this hotel is old and a bit out of fashion. And swimming pool looked good, but the water temperature was not warm enough for us.
