One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at so far. The view was amazing — both at night and during the day. You can’t help but smile every time you wake up in the morning and are greeted by the beautiful harbour view.
Of course, there were also a few downsides —- there’s no elevator from the outside entrance to the reception area when checking in and out, so some guests might find it difficult to drag their suitcases, especially if they don’t take a taxi or Uber. For reference, I had two large suitcases with a total weight of 28 kg when I checked in. By the time I checked out, I had two large suitcases plus one duffle bag, weighing around 40 kg in total — but I still managed to walk them out towards the train station .
I also tried the breakfast buffet twice to see if the menu would change. So far, it was almost the same, with only one or two dishes changed. Still, the variety was good — enough options, and I think worth it considering the price range in Australia, as one meal can easily cost more than AUD 30 if drinks and desserts are included. All the food I tried was delicious, and the staffs were nice.
The train station was just a 3–5 minute walk away, which made it very convenient.
If you’re planning to stay here for the view, it’s truly as beautiful as the pictures (see photos for reference, I did not edit any of the photos and did not use any filters)
