Wombat's City Hostel Budapest

Each bed in the dorm is equipped with a fan and central air conditioning, making it very cool in the summer. The bathroom is clean and odor-free, and the facilities are well-maintained. The location is also easy to find, with several restaurants downstairs for convenient dining. It's only a few minutes' walk to the airport shuttle bus stop, which is great for catching early morning flights.

One thing really upset me! The blinds in my room were broken. I reported it that same day, and the Macedonian guy told me the maintenance worker wouldn't be in until Monday. So, on Monday, I told the front desk again. The Hungarian guy there promised it would be fixed that day, but it never was. Later, when I spoke to the Macedonian guy about it, he immediately snapped back, saying he had told maintenance that they finished work at 4 PM. I thought to myself, 'Does he really need to be that angry?' Maybe his colleague didn't inform him, but it's certainly not my fault. Afterward, when I asked to change rooms, the Macedonian guy had a very impatient attitude! I think that Macedonian guy's customer service skills need some training! And one of the elevators is always out of order…

I was surprised by how clean it was, highly recommend! You can rent towels for 2 euros, and after check-out, you can store your luggage in a large locker for 4.5 euros for 6 hours.

Wow, a quad room with a private bathroom, air conditioning, and an elevator – these are such crucial features for a hostel in Europe! And I slept so comfortably!
