Giftun is as ancient as Hurghada itself. The hotel's residents are 90% German pensioners. Russian isn't spoken at all, and if you're not good with languages, you won't be heard. The food is excellent, but it gets boring after a week. The booze, except for the strong stuff, is okay. The rooms are 50% tired, to put it mildly. Without lava (baksheesh in Egyptian) upon arrival, don't expect the best room options. This is a family-friendly, 80s-style hotel, as long as you remember to plant a red flag next to your sunbed on the beach to avoid being bullied by the local tour guides. This all-inclusive resort hotel was priced around 140,000 won, making it a great value. You can eat as much as you want during restaurant hours, and the beach is a great place to relax. It was a bit awkward, with all the Westerners and us being the only Asians I saw, but the staff were friendly, and the Wi-Fi in the lobby worked well. I'd love to go back again if I get the chance.

The rooms are bungalow-type and generally clean, but the bathroom smelled of sewage and smoke came out of the hairdryer cord. There are cats living throughout the hotel, so if you don't like them, be careful (they will try to get into your room). Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all buffet style (changes daily). You can order a la carte at the restaurant for lunch. At breakfast, there is a live kitchen (fried eggs, fried eggs, scrambled eggs) on the balcony of the restaurant, so it is recommended. It seems that you can also get light meals at the restaurant near the beach depending on the time. As for alcohol, the beer is Sakkara beer, not Stella. There are several types of cocktails, and the lineup available at all restaurants and bars is the same. If possible, I recommend drinking at the lobby bar. It seems that you can smoke anywhere on the premises.

As it was an all-inclusive resort, I stayed there for one night from December 31st. Because there was a New Year's countdown party, all the restaurants were closed after 3pm and everyone was gathered at the countdown party venue. There was a lot to choose from at the buffet, which was great, but it was disappointing as I had originally wanted to go to a restaurant where I could order a la carte. Since everyone was gathered together and could smoke freely, I, who don't like smoke, left early. I think it's good for people who like a lively place, but for those who want to relax in peace and quiet, it's just a pain. The whole building is old, but it's clean. There are no amenities, so you must bring your own.

It's really terrible. I stayed for two nights. There was no hot water. The soundproofing was not good. I couldn't eat the all-inclusive meals. After entering, it felt like a nursing home. It was full of elderly people. Not recommended
