Novotel Suites Ambassador Seoul Yongsan

Hotel prices in Seoul were insanely high during Golden Week, and I picked this one after countless comparisons. Last time I stayed in Gangnam, this time in Yongsan. Location: Taking an Uber/taxi from here to Hongdae, Myeongdong, N Seoul Tower, and Hangang Park is super close and convenient. Service: Front desk staff were very professional with great service. Daily housekeeping was a big plus—at my previous stay, they only cleaned every three days. Room: Around 40 sqm, equipped with an all-in-one washer/dryer, a bar counter, and a microwave—really great amenities. View: Floor-to-ceiling windows offer a view of the Han River, and it's extremely convenient to go for a morning run at Yeouido Hangang Park. Nobody runs like Seoul.

Great location! Right next to the train station and subway. The rooms were clean and the service was incredibly friendly.

The hotel environment is excellent, and the rooms are spacious, clean, bright, comfortable, and practical. The soundproofing is good, and the bedding and pillows are clean. The staff are professional and friendly, providing timely and attentive service. It truly lives up to its five-star rating. The hotel's location is superb, surrounded by a wealth of shopping areas, and with convenient access to buses, subways, and the train station, making transportation incredibly easy and fast.

This hotel, less than ten years old, is in terrible disrepair: the bathroom glass is coming unglued, the vanity is unstable, the toilet has stubborn, disgusting stains, the wardrobe smells of mold, the AC vents are loose and dusty, the sofa is stained, the tables have numerous scratches and stains, and the duvet core is filthy black. The hygiene and facilities are full of complaints. The only redeeming quality of this hotel is its location. It's connected to Yongsan Station downstairs, making transportation incredibly convenient. There's also a large mall downstairs, which is great for shopping and dining. I'd recommend it for a short stay, but not for anything longer than two days, as it's hard to tolerate a room that's old and dirty everywhere you look.

The location was perfect, directly connected to Yongsan Station Exit 3, and the views from the high floor were excellent. We were a party of three, including two children, but only had two sets of slippers and towels. We called and they brought more, but it would have been better if they were there from the start. I felt like the futon was damp, and the kettle spout had mold? Or rust? But there was a sponge and detergent available. The room was spacious and clean, the shower pressure was good, and it even had a washing machine (with detergent). It felt like a waste to only stay for one night.

I stayed here for a 2-day, 1-night trip to Seoul ☺️ It was my first time staying at Novotel Ambassador Suites, and I was really satisfied! It's directly connected to Yongsan Station and IPark Mall, making it super convenient to get around. I stayed in a Junior Suite, and the room condition was excellent, with a fantastic view from the room! The city view of the Han River and Seoul's downtown was truly impressive. With a swimming pool and sauna, it's an excellent place for a 'ho-cance' (hotel vacation) 👍

The environment was clean, and the service was excellent. It was also very convenient, with direct access to the subway. If I ever go to Seoul again, I'd definitely choose to stay here!
