After a long flight, I arrived at the hotel expecting basic assistance with my luggage. Unfortunately, no staff member offered to help, which was disappointing and unprofessional for a hotel of your standard.
The receptionist, Chelsea, was rude and unhelpful during check-in. Her attitude made the experience unpleasant and unwelcoming. Moreover, the women working in the breakfast area were impolite until I raised a complaint. This should not be the standard of service guests receive.
The breakfast itself was also disappointing. The food was excessively oily, the omelette looked unappetizing, and overall the quality did not meet reasonable expectations for hotel dining.
I would like to note that Miss Yvonne handled my complaint politely and professionally, and I appreciate her approach. However, the issues I experienced should not have occurred in the first place. Staff members should be properly trained to provide respectful, attentive service without guests needing to complain first.
I am reporting this experience because I believe management should be aware of these service gaps and take corrective action. I hope this feedback will be taken seriously to improve guest experience going forward.
