JOYARD Guangzhou - Riverside Shipyard Heritage Hotel

💎 A hidden gem — absolutely loved my stay! What a wonderful find! Joyard truly feels like a hidden gem. From the moment I arrived, I loved the peaceful atmosphere, the beautiful surroundings, and the unique character of the property. I stayed in the Starfruit Courtyard King Room, and I absolutely loved it. The room was spacious, comfortable, very clean, and beautifully decorated. I especially enjoyed the design — it has so much personality and creates a cozy, relaxing atmosphere. The private courtyard was also such a lovely touch. The swimming pool was another highlight of my stay. It is beautiful, relaxing, and especially lovely in the evening when the lights come on and the whole property gets an intimate, charming atmosphere. I also really enjoyed the Courtyard Premium Desert Afternoon Tea Gift. It was beautifully presented and made the experience feel even more special. The Waterside Bar cocktails were just amazing! The drinks, atmosphere, and setting by the water were definitely one of my favorite parts of the stay. The food was another pleasant surprise. The menu has a great selection of both Chinese and Western dishes, with delicious food and a much more sophisticated presentation than I expected. Everything we tried was very enjoyable. A special mention also goes to the staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful, attentive, friendly, and charismatic. Their service contributed a lot to such a pleasant experience. There was really only one small flaw in an otherwise perfect stay: unfortunately, the minibar in my room was not working, so my beverages became warm. I hope this can be checked and fixed for future guests, because everything else about the stay was excellent. Overall, I genuinely loved Joyard. Beautiful property, lovely room, great pool, delicious food and cocktails, wonderful staff, and such a relaxing atmosphere. Definitely a hidden gem 💎 and a place I will happily come back to again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Joy Yard Hotel. It is such a beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly well-maintained place. Everything was spotless, and the staff were wonderful! warm, attentive, and always ready to help. Our room was amazing, with fantastic views over both the Shipyard and the Pearl River. From the hotel, you can see the modern skyline on one side and the older neighborhood on the other, which makes the setting really special. The Shipyard itself is beautifully maintained, with lovely areas to walk around and relax. The facilities were excellent: a beautiful swimming pool, great coffee, and a wonderful rooftop where you can walk, sit, and simply enjoy the view and the atmosphere. We originally booked two nights, but discovered that a party was planned for our second evening. Since we had come specifically for the peace and quiet, we asked if we could leave a day early. The hotel was extremely understanding and accommodating. They even treated us to a lovely dinner at their excellent restaurant and cocktails, which was such a thoughtful gesture. It was a genuinely wonderful experience:) a place we will definitely return to.

It feels almost unbelievable that such a serene and enchanting place exists right in the heart of this modern city. From the moment we arrived, the staff impressed us with their kindness and generosity. Every request was met with genuine warmth, and they went above and beyond to create memorable experiences for us, from a delightful afternoon tea to a fascinating tour of their wine cellar. Our children were thrilled with the pool, while we were captivated by the breathtaking views from the hotel. Every detail contributed to a sense of relaxation and discovery. This hotel is nothing short of magical, and we will most definitely be returning.
