The hotel didn't clean the room every day, and drinking water was only provided on the first day; after that, we had to use the direct drinking water fountain in the hallway. Breakfast was pretty good! The biggest advantage is that it's close to major downtown attractions, with very convenient access to buses and the subway.

The hotel is 150m away from the Hotel Miramar bus station, and a few minutes away from Havelock station. Generally, the area’s location is among big hotels like Holiday Inn, Double Tree by Hilton, etc., so it’s generally a nice neighborhood for families. :)

The voucher I got during the 919 sale was a real steal. For a transitional hotel, paying less than 600 bucks is an absolute bargain. This hotel is decades old, and in Singapore, that means the rooms are surprisingly spacious – something newer places like Moxy or Mercure can't even compare to. You shouldn't expect too much in other areas, though. But the location is pretty convenient, right in the city center, close to Orchard Road and Chinatown. And it's just a 5-minute walk to Tiong Bahru Market for food.

Pretty good! Check-in was easy and the room was quiet and clean. The location is excellent, close to all the attractions. There's also a 7-Eleven downstairs, though the cashier there had a really bad attitude. 😂

Positives: - very child friendly hotel. With free small indoor playground, san pit, children golf, toys to play at the swimming pool just to name a few - 7/11 on site and various vending machines to settle most necessities without leaving hotel - laundry room - 2 chargeable indoor playgrounds within the hotel - room tv allows logging into YouTube, Netflix, Disney etc - each floor has a lounge area where there is a microwave oven and you can pick up items like towels, cotton buds, tea bags, instant coffee etc.. Negatives - sound insulation quite bad. Can hear the next room and sound along the corridor - water pressure slightly weak and takes a bit of time for water to become hot - very limited tv channels

The room was decent and very affordable. It was very clean, and the location is excellent, near the Singapore River in the city center, close to Merlion Park and Clarke Quay. Public transportation is convenient, and the front desk staff were very enthusiastic and helpful. It's perfect for business travel.
