Hotel Skypark Kingstown Dongdaemun

Facilities: The toilet has a heated bidet function, the Wi-Fi is super fast, and there are plenty of power outlets. Cleanliness: The daily housekeeping was great, very clean, and the towels were changed daily. Environment: The hotel is right next to Dongdaemun Market, with a snack street and shopping street nearby. You can also experience a different kind of Korean shopping by walking around. Service: The front desk is on the 14th floor. After checking in, you can grab something to eat from the convenience store right in front – super convenient! The balcony is also very spacious, and it's lovely to feel the fresh outdoor air. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the experience. The guests staying at the hotel were generally well-mannered, and there are even Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk, which is great!

This hotel offers incredible value for money! It's really luxurious and easy to find, located on the side of the building. It's about a seven-minute walk from Dongdaemun or Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station, just follow the directions on Naver Maps. There are lots of shops nearby, especially towards Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station, but it doesn't feel chaotic; I, as a solo female traveler, felt very safe. On the ground floor, there's a concierge who was very warm and polite, guiding me to the 14th floor for check-in. The lobby on the 14th floor is spacious, with several staff members, including some who speak Chinese. There's also a photo booth and a convenience store in the lobby. The room was huge! And it even had a bathtub! It was spotless, and the entire hotel smelled lovely. The cleaning lady was super cute and pretty, haha. I really enjoyed my stay, but there are two minor drawbacks, in my opinion. Firstly, the hairdryer's airflow was a bit weak, which wasn't very comfortable to use. Secondly, the soundproofing wasn't amazing, but it didn't disturb my sleep, so it was fine overall.

The location is excellent, right above an outlet mall, which is great for shopping. You can easily take your purchases back to the hotel. The vouchers included with the room booking can be exchanged for seaweed snacks, a plastic file folder, and a set of mall discount coupons at the adjacent DOOTA MALL. If you spend over 50,000 won on a single receipt at the mall, you can get a T-money card loaded with 5,000 won. Each passport can only redeem this offer once, which is quite a good deal.

The room was clean and well-equipped, and the bedding was comfortable, so I slept really well. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and check-in and check-out were quick. The location is convenient and the environment is quiet. Overall, it was a great experience with good value for money, highly recommended!

The room was spacious, clean, and tidy, and also very quiet. The service was excellent. There's a mall downstairs, and it's very close to Dongdaemun Market. Subway lines 1 and 4 are just a 5-minute walk away. The room had coffee and tea, but unfortunately, no milk, which made the coffee taste a bit lacking. Despite that, I would definitely book again. It's a hotel with great value for money.
