Tegal Sari Accommodation Ubud

Stayed in the deluxe family room with my family – a big bed, a small bed, and a sofa area which was great for eating and chatting. However, there were a lot of ants at the ground floor pool. The rooftop pool was much better. It's very close to the city center.

Everything was great, however, the facilities are a bit old and could use some upgrades.

The room was spacious, the location was good, and there were many shops nearby. Towels were provided, but amenities such as toothbrushes were not. There was no tissue, only toilet paper. There seemed to be a limit to the shower usage... when I took a shower at night, the hot water stopped coming out and it was lukewarm, just barely bearable. The watermelon juice at a nearby shop called Pison is delicious. It opens at 7am, so I went there for breakfast. Hotel guests could get a 15% discount if they ate at affiliated restaurants, even if they didn't have breakfast.

The environment is great, with many restaurants and supermarkets nearby, making it very convenient for getting around. It's also close to the forest, offering beautiful views right outside the door. The staff were very welcoming, showing us to our room and offering welcome tea; the service was excellent in every way. The only downside is that it might not be ideal for people sensitive to light and sound. The curtains are quite sheer, and it rained all night, making it rather noisy. My mother didn't sleep well, but earplugs were provided. Overall, it's great value for money! I highly recommend it if you don't mind the above drawbacks. It's a shame I only stayed one night…

I really liked the feeling of living in a jungle, as well as the well-equipped surrounding restaurants and amenities.

The hotel is reasonably priced and the service is good. The hotel next door is undergoing renovations and can be noisy during the day, but we were out so it wasn't a problem. There are two pools and the rooftop pool had a nice atmosphere, but we were busy sightseeing and couldn't use it. Our room on the first floor facing the rice terraces had a nice atmosphere, but there was a wall that slightly blocked the view. The hotel is spacious, has good service and atmosphere, and is conveniently located, so we recommend it.
