How should I put it? This hotel is centuries old. The front desk told me it was the first hotel in Casablanca, so you can imagine the facilities. It's a centuries-old hotel, you get the picture. Everything inside feels like it's 100 years old. The toilet, plumbing, bed, lights, and desk all seem to be from the WWII era. If you enjoy vintage black-and-white movies, this place is for you. But if you're looking for comfort, forget it. There's no air conditioning in the room either.

Well located in old city. There is nice rooftop. Rooms with garden view are nice. It was cold and I had to ask for heater - which took some 10 mins to get arranged, but young boy at reception was helpful to get it.

The price is very reasonable for what you get. The room was quite spacious and comfortable. The location is very convenient, it's in the Medina but easy to find and close to the main road. It's within walking distance to Casa Port Station, La Sqala, Rick's Café, and Mohammed V Square, and not far from Hassan II Mosque and the Corniche. There is no air conditioning, but I visited in winter so it was not a problem. I was provided with a simple heater, and there was hot water available. Some rooms have balconies. The female staff member was very friendly, she even offered me the option of having a room with a better view (though it was on a higher floor) or staying on a lower level since there's no lift, only stairs. The hotel also has a rooftop terrace that guests can access to enjoy the view. Overall, it's a good choice if you're looking for an affordable and well-located stay in Casablanca.

It was close to archaeological sites, but there was women's hair on the bed, and it was clear they hadn't changed the bedding. There was also no bidet in the bathroom.

Location easy to reach by train from the airport. Good breakfast set. ⚠️ Smelly bathroom. ⚠️ Also beware the city tax needs to be paid in cash only.

Built in 1906 an authentic old hotel for those on a budget and want to feel part of what is left of Casablanca’s medina area. Staff helpful and friendly. Good breakfast in cafe attached to hotel. Great views from rooftop, 10 min. walk to main train station, approx. 30 min. walk to Hassan II Mosque. ATM next to hotel. Room, toilet/shower clean.  A budget hotel with charm and character.
