The room pictures showed a sea view, but when I arrived, I was told it was only a partial sea view and was given a room really far from the ocean, surrounded by mountains. Every time I needed to go up or down the mountain, I had to take a taxi, which was expensive here. They have a shuttle service to go down the mountain, but you have to taxi back up yourself. The mountain is super high, and the room had bugs and ants that bit me in many places, causing an allergic reaction. Every time I rode up the mountain, I was on edge. The breakfast wasn't good either, and all the hotel service was in English. Most of the guests were white, and there was no Chinese service. I booked for two nights, and they charged me 800 yuan in taxes. The transfer service was good and polite, but the front desk service was very mediocre and seemed to cater heavily to Westerners! I didn't feel very comfortable personally (I'm sensitive to these things).

The hotel's location is quite remote; you'll need to take a taxi to get to and from Phuket Town. There's a scheduled shuttle service available at the hotel, so keep an eye out for that. The main downside is that the swimming pool has limited hours, so you can't enjoy it after a long day of sightseeing. Also, the bed and toilet are in the same open space in the room without any separation, which feels a bit odd. Overall, for a 5-star hotel, it's just average; other facilities could use some improvement.

This hotel is incredibly inconvenient. Although there's a shuttle that goes down the mountain, it runs infrequently and requires a reservation. After 10 PM, there's a charge to take the shuttle back up. What's absolutely unacceptable is that after checking out, I wanted to take the hotel shuttle down the mountain, but they told me I couldn't because I had luggage. It's really hard to get a taxi up there because the road up the mountain is incredibly steep. Many drivers don't want to go up. I tried to explain to the hotel that it's difficult to get a taxi, and I wanted to take their shuttle down. They refused, just because I had luggage. It seems like it's okay to take the shuttle down if you're still staying, but not if you've checked out. I've attached the hotel shuttle timetable for everyone's reference. It's also very far from the beach; you need to take the shuttle down to Patong Beach. Dining options are also inconvenient. The rooms are quite spacious, and the pool is clean. The breakfast also doesn't have Chinese food anymore, unlike what older reviews mentioned; it's almost entirely geared towards foreigners.
