Oslo Beer Festival is a large-scale Bavarian traditional beer festival held in Oslo, Norway, in October. It transforms the city center's Youngstorget square into a German-style beer garden, accommodating approximately 10,000 participants. The festival includes festival tents on the second, third, and fourth weekends of October and a month-long beer garden, offering free admission (for limited times), bookable group and VIP seating options. The event features live music performances by Tyrolean bands, traditional German food (pork knuckle, sausages, potato salad, etc.), craft beer, and a vibrant Bavarian festival atmosphere. Participants are encouraged to wear traditional leather trousers and national costumes, creating a unique beer festival experience that blends Norwegian flair with German tradition.
