Join the 2024 Kitten Camp for a day filled with excitement, dancing, and enthusiastic support for the Bearcats! Attendees can enter through either the East doors at the Big K or the West doors at Kearney High School. As you arrive, make sure to check in at the tables located outside the main gym for the morning session of camp and before the game. It's important to check your child in for both the camp and the game. The day camp runs from 9am to 11am, with registration starting at 8:30am. During camp, campers will have the opportunity to learn a halftime performance, participate in games, and receive instruction on various dance moves and techniques. At 11am, promptly pick up your child from the main gym at Kearney High School. Then, later in the day, between 4pm and 4:15pm, bring your child back to Kearney High School to sit with the Dance Catz during the first half of the KHS Girls Varsity Basketball game, which begins at 4:30pm. Your child will have the chance to showcase the routine they learned during the morning camp with a halftime performance. Please ensure that your child arrives at the game wearing the camp T-shirt, with a tattoo applied to their face, and ready to perform. Poms will be provided at the game! To check your child out of camp, you will need to present a check out ticket to the registration staff. This ticket will be given to you during the registration process. We highly recommend pre-purchasing game entry tickets when registering your child online for the camp to avoid long lines on the day of the game.
