HOW TO Use Power and Hand Tools
Workshop: Introduction to Using Power & Hand Tools (For Beginners)
Get hands-on experience with a range of small power and hand tools — including drills, sanders, jigsaws, hammers, screwdrivers, and more. This beginner-friendly workshop is ideal for those with little or no experience who want to build confidence using tools safely and correctly.
Learn how to:
Choose the right tool for the job
Set up tools for different materials
Use tools like a cordless drill for everyday tasks (e.g. putting up a shelf)
Understand wall types and fixings
Work safely and avoid common issues
Experienced craftspeople will demonstrate techniques and provide one-on-one help. A variety of tools will be available, but you're welcome to bring your own for specific advice.
