If glazed, the masks will undergo a second firing in the kiln. The masks created during this event will be auctioned off during the Exhibit Opening. Artists will receive 40% of the auction price, with the option to donate a portion back to the Firehouse to support their Art Education outreach programs. This unique fundraising event is designed to bring the community of St. Louis together through sports and movement. As a volunteer, sponsor, or participant, you can contribute to the success of this event and support City League's mission to develop youth through school sports. The Run-A-Thon Fundraiser aims to achieve three important goals. Firstly, community groups such as local running clubs, gyms, studios, and organizations are invited to participate as a team and support City League's Phase One Campaign Goal of $300,000. You can collect pledges and donations and then run or walk as many laps as possible during the one-hour event. Secondly, partner schools are encouraged to participate as school teams. All funds raised by individual school communities will directly support their league fees, and any additional funds will go towards their athletic programs, including costs for coaches, equipment, and uniforms.
