Looking to take your hand spun yarns to the next step? Come along to my introduction to Plying Workshop where I will guide you through the various techniques from basic 2 ply yarn to art yarns. We will also look at the purpose of plying and how to measure the balance of yarn. Skill level: This workshop is suitable for advanced beginner or those wishing to expand their existing skills. this workshop will cover the following plying techniques: Standard 2-Ply Chain Plying Spiral Ply Cable Intro to art yarn plying A fun and friendly workshop with a group of like-minded creatives. All materials are provided as well as refreshments. There will be spinning wheels to use for the workshop, however you are welcome to bring your own spinning wheel. (Please let us know if you are bringing your own wheel so that we can offer an additonal place) We truly belive creativity has a huge positive effect on your wellbeing!
