Mark your calendars for the upcoming Take A Kid Mountain Biking event, in partnership with TX NICA, at Horseshoe Trail in Grapevine, Texas. This highly-anticipated event is designed for middle school and high school students, ranging from 6th grade to 12th grade, of all skill levels. The objective of this event is to provide a unique platform for students who are interested in mountain biking and want to explore the world of racing and training with a team. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, the TX NICA team will be present along with experienced coaches. As an added bonus, we will be raffling off a top-of-the-line Bontrager Rally helmet. Don't forget to check-in upon arrival to receive your raffle ticket. Remember, you must be present at the drawing to claim your prize. The day will begin with check-in at 8:30 AM, followed by a safety briefing and the formation of separate groups based on skill level. The ride will kick off at 9:15 AM and conclude around 11:00 AM. Before you head out, make sure you have the necessary equipment, including a bicycle and helmet, closed-toe shoes, a water bottle or hydration pack, gloves, and eye protection.
