Perfect location. Close to everything. The high floor stay on 38 has an amazing view. Very spacious two bedroom unit with separate kitchen, bathroom and living room. Plenty of space for 4 people. The view from the balcony is amazing. The view from the lounge on Level 55 is amazing. High speed lifts, the annoying part is some of them are always under maintenance. For a 4 night stay, at least 3 toilet rolls for the family would be lovely. We will definitely stay there again. Highly recommended.

This felt more like an apartment-hotel. It came with a microwave, fridge, full set of dishes, and even dish soap and a sponge. The sofa bed was made up before we checked in, which was a huge plus – it saved us the hassle of communicating with the front desk staff in a foreign country. Bottled water isn't provided, but there's a kettle. We didn't interact with the staff at all, apart from checking in and out. The hotel is at least a 5-minute walk from the beach. Breakfast wasn't included in the room rate, so we ate every day at a great restaurant not far downstairs. The hotel has a pool, which looked decent, but we didn't get a chance to try it.

However, apart from the master bedroom, the other two rooms are very small and not worth the price. The key was self-service; we searched for ages before finally finding a courier shop to pick it up with a password. There was no front desk, so we had to make two trips to get the key. Those who are particular about sleep should think twice, especially since the bedrooms are extremely small.

Location: I think this is one of the more convenient locations in Gold Coast. Facilities: However, it doesn't have its own beach, only a saltwater pool. The breakfast is quite rich; it would be best if it could be delivered to the room. There's a car service from the airport to the hotel, but the tram isn't very reliable and sometimes stops running, so don't cut it close when going to the airport. This hotel is centrally located in Gold Coast, making it suitable for getting anywhere, and transportation is readily available. If convenience is your priority, this place is a good choice. Room service is also excellent, and it offers great value for money. Service: There was a welcome drink upon check-in, and the staff were all friendly, though there was no Chinese-speaking service.

The apartment hotel does not provide much service. The picture shows that there is a kitchen for children. The outdoor swimming pool and the small play ground for children are not bad. You can use the poolside BBQ, but you have to use it to clean the stove plate or something. Think about giving up. . The biggest highlight is that you can take the elevator from the pool side to the supermarket downstairs and some small shops and restaurants. There is nothing to buy in the shops downstairs. If you do n’t cook, the Papa restaurant downstairs in Malaysia is suitable for kids to eat fried rice and pho. You can walk to the beach from there and walk for about 20 minutes. The location is good for this price. Anyway, nothing luxurious, but practical and clean, suitable for family travel.

We were staying on the GC for a dance convention based at Carrara Sports, so the location for the hotel to there was great. However, there wasn’t a lot else around for us to easily access without driving. The hotel itself is nice, but a little outdated and I did not see this on their description, but a LIFTLESS RESORT! We were on the 3rd floor and that was a struggle with suitcases and small children to get up and down. If I had of known that, I’m not sure I would have booked. The restaurant was very fancy for us, but we ate in the cafe/bistro area both nights. It was nice, but a little pricey for kids meals/sizing. The pool was great and felt a little heated, but no frills. We were staying at the same time as a LARGE football training group who thought 9:30pm was a great time to go swimming LOUDLY :( But a quick call to reception and the host there told them to finish up. I also got a nice little birthday surprise in my room from the manager on duty, which was a lovely treat. All in all, our stay was pleasant, buffet breakfast was good (but very busy at 7:30am so go earlier) and the venue was tidy. Would stay again if they had deals, otherwise, may be a little over priced for what it is.

The location is great, just a 1-minute walk from the light rail station. I had to change rooms once because, even though the first room had lovely warm sunlight, it was too close to the road and very noisy. After communicating with the front desk through my program, I was moved to the other side. The front desk attendant was a very polite, handsome young Chinese-Indonesian man. The room was quite large and relatively clean, with daily housekeeping. There were also two complimentary bottles of water. However, the 'sea view room' wasn't really a sea view room; 80% of it didn't offer a sea view, and I could only glimpse 20% of the sea through a small gap. It's better than nothing, I suppose. But it was the cheapest hotel I stayed at during my 10 days in Queensland, and it included breakfast, so it was still a good value for money.

I specifically requested a quiet room, but ended up facing the street, and the traffic noise at night was quite disruptive. Every morning around 8 AM, someone would consistently knock on the door for housekeeping, even after I told the front desk that I didn't need it. Most people come here for the kids' activities, but only the free drinks, waterslide, and one indoor climbing area are included. Everything else costs extra, and the room rates aren't cheap, considering so few activities are included. There's a bus stop right outside, which makes getting around convenient. However, it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the lively areas for food. If you're not planning to use the hotel's activities with your kids, it might be better to stay at a hotel closer to the bustling areas.

This might be my favorite hidden gem hotel in Brisbane. I went there for business meetings with business partners and then brought my family. The hotel was full of kangaroos, the service was incredibly attentive, the stay was quiet and comfortable, there were many hotel activities, and the beach was beautiful. It's very convenient for business travelers, and also a great place for families with children. The breakfast was very plentiful, with many freshly squeezed juice options! Except for one night when a group of young people played a prank and knocked on the door randomly (they sounded like they had ********* accents), which was dealt with immediately after I told the front desk, the whole trip was extremely pleasant. This is one of the most enjoyable memories of my trip to Australia!

I chose this hotel for its convenient access to Kokomo for whale watching. It's incredibly easy to walk to the Kokomo pier from here, so I'm glad I booked this place. I checked in on a weekend that coincided with a marathon, which meant road closures, but walking to the pier was completely unaffected. The hotel itself was also a pleasant surprise – the views are absolutely stunning. The breakfast restaurant looks out directly onto the blue ocean, and the scenery is just breathtaking; it made every meal feel wonderful. The room service food was also quite good. The only minor downside is that the rooms are a bit spread out. Getting to my room from the front desk involved going up and down elevators with my luggage, which felt a bit circuitous and time-consuming. I'd definitely consider staying here for a few more days next time!

Had a wonderful stay at QT Gold Coast. The location is excellent, with a tram station just a short walk away, making it very convenient to get around. I loved the vibrant colours and modern design throughout the hotel, which gave it a fun yet stylish atmosphere. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. A nice touch was the Dyson hair dryer in the room, which was a pleasant surprise. One area that could be improved is the washroom and shower layout, which is quite inconvenient, and the toilet bowl is hidden behind the door when the door is open. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would happily return.

I stayed for 6 nights, and the price difference on weekends was quite significant; it's more cost-effective to book in advance. The location is convenient, with a mall, supermarket, and beach nearby. There's also an outdoor playground for children at the beach. The kitchen and laundry room were useful. The hotel doesn't offer daily cleaning, but if you need towel changes or supplies, they'll deliver them to your room when you call. Most of the staff were very friendly and enthusiastic, especially Iris and an Indian manager who were excellent! However, there was one blonde woman with a ponytail who stood out. The front desk staff rotate between guiding and greeting guests in the lobby. Every time we passed by, she pretended not to see us, and if she did, she wouldn't smile. Yet, she was exceptionally polite to other foreign guests. This was consistent over several days and quite obvious!

Always a good trip to Royal pines , larger crowd this year than previous so buffet Brekky was packed if you didn’t get in early (still ran pretty smoothly tho) Would recommend bringing your own pillow if your a fussy sleeper like myself, their pillows weren’t to my liking but that’s only a preference thing. Food & drinks are pricey but plenty of other options nearby if you don’t want to spend the extra money. No foxtel in rooms so bring an Apple TV if you can. Rooms were clean and spacious, room service is quick and friendly. Gym is amazing if your into that as well and the pool is always a winner 🙌🏽 Staff are amazing ! I visited The Star Grand with high expectations, but I left feeling deeply disappointed. From the moment I arrived at reception, I felt an unwelcoming atmosphere that felt like subtle discrimination. As a guest, I expected professional and equal treatment, but the staff’s attitude was far from it. The room was very basic—no Netflix, average amenities, and nothing 'grand' about it. Breakfast was also very limited. I expected a luxury experience but got something very mediocre instead. I do not recommend this place for the price.

Upon check-in, I was given a room with an obstructed view. It was on a high floor, but the view wasn't perfect. I then went to the front desk to explain, and the staff were very enthusiastic about finding a room with a better view. They even showed me a few options before I confirmed one, and then they helped us switch rooms and move our luggage. The service was fantastic! The hotel's view is unbeatable, truly the best in Gold Coast. I didn't even want to leave. There's a small supermarket downstairs with all the basic necessities. It's only about 400 meters to the light rail station, which is incredibly convenient for getting around the entire Gold Coast. The hotel rooms are fully equipped with kitchenware, a washing machine, and a dryer – everything you could possibly need, it's so complete!

The room was quite spacious, but the facilities were a bit underwhelming. For example, the balcony door lock was broken on the first day, and though it was fixed, I later discovered the hot water in the sink wasn't working. These issues should really be checked before guests check in. Luckily, everything was eventually repaired. My stay wasn't the best, but the Nepalese lady at the front desk who helped resolve the problems was excellent – thumbs up to her! Breakfast was a partnership with Harvest Buffet inside The Star, costing $30 for one adult and one child, which I thought was a reasonable price.

The staff are so nice, and there's a room where you can store luggage. The kitchen even has an air fryer, but many of the electric kettles were broken. The fridge was super full, and there were always lots of people coming and going in the kitchen, cooking. I didn't even want to cook myself after seeing that. I recommend going down to the kitchen to cook between 5 and 7 PM; that's when it's least busy and cleanest. The room was super dark, and my roommates were long-term guests who were often resting in the room, so I was really worried about disturbing them, but they were all very nice. Australians might not be afraid of the cold; the 'duvet' was just a blanket, so remember to bring thicker pajamas in winter. After 10 PM, I could still hear singing and loud laughter from outside the room, so definitely bring earplugs! If you're looking for something cheap, this place isn't bad, and it's super close to the light rail station.

My stay at Meriton Suites Broadbeach on the Gold Coast far exceeded expectations. The location is superb; it's just a few minutes' walk to the white sandy beach, and conveniently close to the light rail station and Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, making getting around, dining, and shopping incredibly easy. My high-floor unit featured a panoramic floor-to-ceiling window balcony directly overlooking the magnificent coastline. I could watch the sunrise over the ocean in the morning and enjoy the sunset with a sea breeze in the evening – the views were expansive and incredibly relaxing. The apartment has a complete home layout, with a full kitchen and a washer/dryer combo, which was very convenient for buying seafood and cooking ourselves. The room was clean and dry, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The complex offers two swimming pools, a gym, and a sauna, all surrounded by lush tropical greenery, creating a peaceful and serene environment. The 24-hour front desk service was attentive and thoughtful, and the WiFi was stable and fast. This place is perfect for both couples on holiday and families on a short stay, making it an excellent choice for accommodation on the Gold Coast. I will definitely prioritize booking here again on my next visit.

I had to change rooms once because, even though the first room had lovely warm sunlight, it was too close to the road and very noisy. After communicating with the front desk through my program, I was moved to the other side. The front desk attendant was a very polite, handsome young Chinese-Indonesian man. The room was quite large and relatively clean, with daily housekeeping. There were also two complimentary bottles of water. However, the 'sea view room' wasn't really a sea view room; 80% of it didn't offer a sea view, and I could only glimpse 20% of the sea through a small gap. It's better than nothing, I suppose. But it was the cheapest hotel I stayed at during my 10 days in Queensland, and it included breakfast, so it was still a good value for money.

The hotel location was a short walk to the beach & paradise center where all the food is.it will be good if the carpark fees are complementary for hotel stays.

Really nice views, good location close to shopping centre and easy to navigate your way around the city from there, has a nice little gym and a pool and even a tennis court aswell as a sauna, right on the river to can see the sunrise and sunset, I enjoyed my stay has a full kitchen and all of the utensils and pots and pans.

Good location with Pacific Fair across the road and public transport as well. Close enough to walk to the beach. This is a budget hotel, rooms have very basic amenities, and some rooms are quite dated. The cleanliness of the rooms was very good!! Overall a good stay for what I needed.
