This is a very well managed hotel with a good location, close to the pier and a five-minute walk from the Archaeological Museum. The breakfast is very good, the facilities are complete, the price is not expensive, and the cost performance is very high. When I checked in on June 1, there was a gentleman front desk staff who patiently answered many questions about Heraklion tourism for me and helped me print the boat ticket to Santorini. I would like to thank him here!

We recently stayed at the Metropole and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment wr arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was great, close to everything we wanted to see and do. The breakfast buffet was great with plenty of choices. I highly recommend staying here for a comfortable and enjoyable stay while in Greece. There are a maze of options but you will do yourself a favour by staying here.

It is relatively convenient to get to Cullersburg, the bus station and the central square. You can almost reach it by walking 500 meters. Take bus 2 to Knossos Palace. The hotel staff are warm and friendly, and the breakfast is rich and constantly improved according to our needs. The hotel can also help with sightseeing arrangements. Because it is difficult to go to Spinalonga Island in the off-season (it is closed on weekdays), but Mary helped contact the taxi driver, carefully planned the route and plan for us, and continued to discuss it. On the day of our visit, the driver also learned that there were temporary closures on the island. We are a group, so we can be open to us by the way, so that there will be no regrets in the journey!

The living area is spacious but the furniture is functional rather than luxury, and includes a simple sofa bed and single bed . The owner is attentive . However, although We were offered clean towels during our week stay they never turned up . Disappointing. . There is no where to hang wet towels other than on the furniture.

The facilities were clean and there was a separate veranda where you could wash and dry your laundry, as well as a table and two chairs. The downside is that the bathroom is so small that it's difficult to turn around, and there is the inconvenience of not being able to fit your left foot into the toilet seat.

But the front desk service level is poor, the professionalism is insufficient, especially the young lady on duty in the afternoon. We booked three rooms for 7 of us. On the first day, each room was given a door card, and each person was required to have a ticket. She repeatedly negotiated many times. She opened the topic and did not respond positively. Another lady at the front desk knew our request and made a few door cards for us. We have two family rooms, arranged the wrong room (different room types), opened the luggage, and repacked the room. We stayed for three days, the refrigerator had two bottles of bottled water (two people's room), and it was not added after cleaning. Negotiating with her, saying that it was the hotel's policy to supply free bottled water for a day, and the tenants would buy it on the first floor in the future. Talking again, she simply ignored her black face! The most outrageous thing was the last day. When we had breakfast in the morning, 3 of us took our luggage to the lobby to check out after dinner and rushed to the pier to take the boat. The men on duty at the front desk did not let their suitcases in and had to be placed outside the door (out of sight at the front desk). The three suitcases after the meal are gone! We hurried to negotiate with the man on duty, who did not know that it might have been loaded to the dock. We ran into the street and a group of people was loading the car to retrieve our luggage. This was the worst service of the four hotels we stayed in during our trip to Greece and the only one we gave a bad review.

Communicatie gaat over het algemeen via whatsapp. Dat is prima, maar weinig persoonlijkheid, wat we in andere hotels op kreta meer hadden. Helaas niet heel schoon. We hadden strandhanddoeken gevraagd. Speciale handdoeken voor strand hadden ze niet maar desondanks bereid om te helpen. Beperkt aantal eigen parkeerplaatsen, maar over het algemeen kun je op straat wel een plek vinden.

A fantastic hotel, just 200 meters from the Cretan Archaeological Museum. There's a bus stop right next to the hotel to Knossos Palace; a round trip costs €5. The room I booked was great, the bathroom was clean, and it had a balcony, but it was a bit noisy at night because it's near the road. Also, it's a bit far from the beach, so the sea view isn't great. There was a kettle and complimentary bottled water. The breakfast was excellent, served per person, and I couldn't finish it all. The coffee was the best I've had at breakfast in years. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Heraklion.

The older cleaners were very serious, but the younger ones were very bad. They were not timely and did not put away the items. Complaints were useless. The breakfast was very good. Although the variety was the same every day, it was rich and very Cretan.

He provided cold drinking water which was lovely after a long journey and offered any assistance needed. Very central to town and transport. 1 minor point - tea, coffee etc provided but need some sachets of milk. Would stay again and is recommended.

So Young hostel was a great place to stay - good location, really clean and new facilities and a great kitchen with essentials provided for everyone to use! Tony was also very helpful and welcoming. I would recommend to anyone staying in Iraklio.

Very convenient settlement. The room is clean. It is located in a semi-basin room, which certainly does not add convenience, but we knew about it, so all OK

This is a very well managed hotel with a good location, close to the pier and a five-minute walk from the Archaeological Museum. The breakfast is very good, the facilities are complete, the price is not expensive, and the cost performance is very high. When I checked in on June 1, there was a gentleman front desk staff who patiently answered many questions about Heraklion tourism for me and helped me print the boat ticket to Santorini. I would like to thank him here!

Looks great in the pictures, though it's quite old, the walls are dirty, the toilet is dripping constantly. It's a very basic hotel, that's why I believe the price I paid wasn't worth it. Buffet at the 6th floor has a nice view of the port, and breakfast looks ok for €8, I haven't eaten there. They squiz fresh oranges! Lovely staff!
