Peacock 🦚 The boss is a detail-oriented person, the villa is not big, but the layout is very careful. When we checked in, we also sent iced coffee, turned on the air conditioning in the room in advance, the room had a faint fragrance, very comfortable. They even wore a headset and hat when they made breakfast. The fruit for breakfast was very rich. We had seven fruits that morning. The alley is a bit deep, a few minutes walk from the beach and the main road, but quiet enough.

Close to the big beach, the swimming pool in front of the building, the breakfast and dinner buffet is rich, the reception is good. The room on the first floor had a musty smell, and the room management leader said that it was a good room for the second floor. The manager of the room management department is very good, responsive, and responsible than the front desk leader, the front desk leader will only emphasize that there is no room, it has been booked for several weeks, and no room change!

Four people booked two rooms. This one is on the first floor. The facilities are average, but they are air-conditioned. They ordered the whale watching boat ticket from the boss the next day. The ticket was handed to the driver. The driver changed the cruise ship and made a difference.

Mirissa Gate is an excellent hotel with a fantastic team managing. Everyone was so nice, incredibly helpful and they felt more like family members by the end of the stay. Nothing was too much trouble. There were days we missed breakfast time and they still made us a huge buffet breakfast! They organised our trips we wanted to do and they even upgraded our room for free, for no reason. It was just avaliable! Out of all the places we stayed in Sri Lanka, this was our favourite. It is right on the beach and not far from the famous mirissa beach which is either a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute tuk tuk ride, which the hotel help organised too. Loved our stay and would highly recommend.

Good location. It is in beach road and plenty of options to eat outside. Everything is in walkable distance. We had sea view room which gave a beautiful start to the day in early morning. The only thing that troubled me was there was no elevator hence I had to take the luggage through stairs to 2nd floor. The owner helped me as well to carry the luggage. I would definitely recommend this place for your stay as it provides a good atmosphere. They have a kitchen for your self cooking where you can prepare your own food. The standard of this hotel and it's rooms, is exceptional! Definetly 10 out of 10 for mine ,as l have stayed in 100,s of hotels around the world over the past 30 years,( except for Covid) it;s not beach front ,but it is only a short scenic walk to a great beach area any way! The staff where very friendly and helpful in advice on where to visit etc. Would certainly stay again ,and l recomend this hotel to any one wishing to stay in this area.

Location location location! This spot is perfect to soak up everything Mirissa beach has to offer. We had a very small problem of monkeys coming onto our balcony during the night & rearranged our chairs & drying clothes for us but the friendly staff took care of everything in the morning. There is a mini beach near the hotel, about 5 minutes walk, more than one kilometer to the main beach, or take a sudden car, the room is not small, you can really see the sea view, health, in a few days in Sri Lanka, I am used to it. Breakfast is fruit bread and the like. I go to eat around ten o'clock. I don't even have an omelette. I don't know if it is late, and many ants crawl on the dining table. It is a bit scary, and don't want to Coffee, really the most difficult coffee I have ever tried.

Amazing view of the ocean from our room - the property sits right in front of the ocean. From the verandah in front of your room, you can watch the waves the whole day, there is no need to go to any of the beaches in Mirissa. Breakfast was delicious too, and they even cooked the fish we caught (for a fee). However, don't expect the same creature comforts of an international 4 or 5 star hotel despite being priced higher. The furniture is also rather dated and the room was not very clean. Overall a decent and memorable experience.

We were the first Chinese guests at this villa, and the price in Mirissa was excellent. The villa itself is beautiful, and the rooms are very clean. We particularly enjoyed the fish at breakfast, though we weren't big fans of the other dishes. Just a heads-up, any food beyond the breakfast provided by the owner comes with an extra charge, so make sure to ask beforehand. Laundry service is available, but it also incurs an additional fee, so remember to inquire about that too!

There are some distances from the beach, about 20 minutes walk. The room is very good, the big bed is clean, there are a lot of mosquitoes, and you have to spray more mosquito repellent water. Because I went to whale watching early the next morning, I specially told the housekeeper to wait for us to come back and have breakfast. When I came back, it was almost 11:30. Haha, the housekeeper also made breakfast for us very well, and I was full. Toast + butter + omelette I am satisfied haha

Very good, the hotel is very clean, the staff is warm and courteous, about 10 minutes walk to Mirissa beach, if you go to secret beach, it is recommended to make a tutu, Sri Lanka weather is hot, it is recommended to do a good job of sun protection. If there is plenty of time, it is recommended to take the 350 bus from Merissa Town to the place of Ahangama to see the sea. It takes about20-30 minutes to take the bus. It is really cool and beautiful there.

Our Sri Lankan vacation began in Mirissa and the Randiya Sea View Hotel. I was worried that our hotel was located right next to the road and would be noisy, but believe me, you'll hear more noise from the ocean waves, which we were absolutely delighted with. The reception staff was very friendly and kind. There's a swimming pool next to the hotel, which we really enjoyed. You can borrow large towels from reception and use them on the sun loungers by the pool. We were lucky enough to catch a gorgeous sunset from our room. A big plus of this hotel is its close proximity to the ocean, despite having to cross the road. We walked to Parrot Rock, which is very close, and Coconut Tree Hill is also within walking distance. There are many cafes with sun loungers along the coastline. We swam on the left side of the beach, closer to Parrot Rock, where the waves are calmer. The hotel has its own parking lot and a restaurant.

Перед приездом созвонились с управляющим отелем господином Кумара и попросили раннее заселение к 9 часам утра. Нам пошли навстречу и сказали что номер будет готов к нашему приезду и доплата не потребуется. К сожалению из-за ряда несостыковок мы смогли приехать только к 6 часам вечера. К моему удивлению господин Кумара дождался нас , показал наш номер и рассказал об отеле. Отель не большой, идеально чисты, имеет свой дворик, парковку для авто или байков. Все номера начиная со второго этажа имеют выход на балкон. Возле каждого номера стол и пара кресел. Вечером можно посидеть, полюбоваться закатом. С верхних этажей великолепный вид на океан и расположенный прямо напротив отеля островок Parrot Rock. В номере есть все для комфортного проживания. Хорошие кровати , стол со стеллажом и отдельно стеллаж для белья и всяческой мелочи.Большое зеркало. Стойка с вешалками для одежды. В прикроватной тумбе индивидуальный сейф. Комната большая, светлая. Идеально белые стены. Мебель из натурального дерева в цвете ,, венге”. Приятный контраст.Кондиционер работает тихо, также имеется ещё и вентилятор.В сан узле всё необходимое, душ, унитаз , зеркало с подсветкой.Всё чисто, никаких пятен или плесени, что мы встречали в других отелях. Что самое интересное и приятное-никаких насекомых. Ни комаров ни муравьев. Для Шри Ланка это большая редкость.Можно спокойно спать .Так же есть общая кухня. В ней необходимая посуда, несколько чайников, холодильник.Вода бутилированная, а так же кулер. Само местоположение отеля просто идеальное. Буквально пара минут хода и вы на пляже, перед вами островок Parrot Rock(обязательно поднимитесь на него. Фото будут великолепные) который как бы разделяет бухту на две части. Справа Мirissa Beach -большой пляж с широкой береговой линией и волной для любителей прибоя. Тут же множество кафе со свежими морепродуктами. Вечером выставляют столы и можно выбрать любую рыбу, креветки, лобстеры и т.д. , которые вам тут же сразу и приготовят. А слева от Parrot Rock небольшая бухта Turtle Beach от океана закрыта рифами в ней практически нет волны в ней можно спокойно купаться даже маленьким детям.За рифами катаются серферы.Здесь же можно взять на прокат маски и ласты, доску для серфинга. Есть инструкторы , которые помогут освоить серфинг. Так же доступен дайвинг, рыбалка , туры по наблюдению за китами и дельфинами. Рядом находится еще одно очень красивое место Coconut Tree Hill. Здесь можно сделать великолепные фото.Что касается питания , то рядом с отелем множество кафе и ресторанов на любой кошелёк . Всего в полсотни метров находится ресторан Petti Petti Mirissa . Место знаковое для Мириссы. В самом ресторане есть бассейн в котором можно искупаться пока вам готовят заказанные блюда.Очень рекомендую. Ну и ещё, что касаемо отеля хочу особо отметить управляющего отелем господина Кумара.Очень доброжелательный и отзывчивый человек. Если возник какой- то вопрос ,всегда выслушает и поможет решить. Перед выездом я попросил о возможности остаться в отеле до вечера, поскольку у нас вылет был ночью. Мало того , что господин Кумара разрешил нам остаться в номере, но даже не стал брать с нас доплату. Сам сориентировал нас по времени и вызвал для нас такси по приемлемой цене на 8 часов вечера. Кроме него в отеле постоянно находится администратор Кушан. Веселый , добродушный парень. Решит любой вопрос по проживанию. Нужна ли уборка, смена белья, полотенец или ещё что. Смело обращайтесь. Кроме того он хорошо говорит по английски.Можно просто поболтать или расспросить о достопремичательностях. Проживание в отеле очень понравилось. Жаль что было всего две недели. Следующий год обязательно вернусь сюда. Господин Кумара, Кушан, спасибо вам.

My wife and I stayed here during our vacation in Sri Lanka, choosing it because of the high Google ratings. The location really impressed us. The hotel is literally a step away from the beach and less than five minutes’ walk to town, which made it very convenient. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the beach and listening to the waves was easily the best part of the stay. The lobby was simple but acceptable, and there is a seafood restaurant right next to the hotel. At check-in, there was a small hiccup. I booked through Trip.com, but they couldn’t find my booking at first. After about ten minutes, they managed to sort it out and confirmed that the booking came via Agoda. The receptionists were friendly and welcoming, even offering us a drink on arrival. Our room on the second floor had a great view of the sea. The shower had good water pressure, although the bathroom could use better ventilation. The toiletries seemed diluted, so we ended up using our own. Unfortunately, the air conditioning became a real problem. It leaked so badly that the room flooded twice, soaking my shoes. Despite my request for a pail to manage the water, they initially only gave floor mats, which was very frustrating. By the time they finally sent a pail, it was too late. We barely slept that night because of the constant dripping sound. Overall, the location and friendliness of the staff were strong points, but the poor handling of the air conditioning issue really spoiled our experience.

Very good hotel, very good value for money, the room is quite big. Going out and crossing the road is Merisha Beach. The clerk is very enthusiastic. It is especially pleasant to have morning tea in the beautiful courtyard.

We were the first Chinese guests at this villa, and the price in Mirissa was excellent. The villa itself is beautiful, and the rooms are very clean. We particularly enjoyed the fish at breakfast, though we weren't big fans of the other dishes. Just a heads-up, any food beyond the breakfast provided by the owner comes with an extra charge, so make sure to ask beforehand. Laundry service is available, but it also incurs an additional fee, so remember to inquire about that too!

Hübsch gestaltetes Boutique Hotel mit sehr bemühtem und freundlichem Personal. Die Zimmer waren makellos sauber. Uns hat gefallen, dass man kostenlos Wasser bekommt, das mehrfach am Tag nachgefüllt wird. Leider wird rund um das Hotel gebaut, so vor allem direkt nebenan Richtung Meer. Der Baulärm war störend und die Sicht auf das Meer ist schon jetzt stark eingeschränkt.

Very good location on a quiet street away from noise and night beach twist. The nearest exit to the beach is the beginning of the bay where the least people are. Minutes at 20 sicket beach. The hosts are a kind family, always ready to help and hint, very quiet and unnoticed. A spacious villa is still in 3 rooms, in plans to build the second floor. A common kitchen with all necessary (chef, refrigerator, dishes) and a dining table. A common cozy living room with a sofa, chairs and table. In the common area there are fans. In the rooms a good air conditioner and showers with hot water. Convenient mattresses and pillows. Everything is very clean!!! For 4 days we changed towels and issued trash packages. Very much to return here again! Recommended!

Our stay at Awon Hotel was really good! The rooms were decent and comfortable, and the hygiene and cleanliness were excellent. The best part is the location, it is very close to the beach and most of the main attractions in Mirissa. Most importantly, the owner was incredibly friendly and helpful with everything, especially when it came to arranging transport and other activities. I highly recommend choosing Awon Hotel if you are visiting Mirissa

The room was on the third floor. The waiter was very nice. He helped with the luggage and brought breakfast. It was 1,800 rubles and it was OK. There was a stinky ditch at the door that hindered the view. There were some ants and mosquitoes in the room, but the beach nearby was very good.

Мы провели в этом отеле две недели. С 21 февраля по 7 марта 2025 года. Сначала хотели провести неделю, но потом остались ещё на неделю. Перед приездом созвонились с управляющим отелем господином Кумара и попросили раннее заселение к 9 часам утра. Нам пошли навстречу и сказали что номер будет готов к нашему приезду и доплата не потребуется. К сожалению из-за ряда несостыковок мы смогли приехать только к 6 часам вечера. К моему удивлению господин Кумара дождался нас , показал наш номер и рассказал об отеле. Отель не большой, идеально чисты, имеет свой дворик, парковку для авто или байков. Все номера начиная со второго этажа имеют выход на балкон. Возле каждого номера стол и пара кресел. Вечером можно посидеть, полюбоваться закатом. С верхних этажей великолепный вид на океан и расположенный прямо напротив отеля островок Parrot Rock. В номере есть все для комфортного проживания. Хорошие кровати , стол со стеллажом и отдельно стеллаж для белья и всяческой мелочи.Большое зеркало. Стойка с вешалками для одежды. В прикроватной тумбе индивидуальный сейф. Комната большая, светлая. Идеально белые стены. Мебель из натурального дерева в цвете ,, венге”. Приятный контраст.Кондиционер работает тихо, также имеется ещё и вентилятор.В сан узле всё необходимое, душ, унитаз , зеркало с подсветкой.Всё чисто, никаких пятен или плесени, что мы встречали в других отелях. Что самое интересное и приятное-никаких насекомых. Ни комаров ни муравьев. Для Шри Ланка это большая редкость.Можно спокойно спать .Так же есть общая кухня. В ней необходимая посуда, несколько чайников, холодильник.Вода бутилированная, а так же кулер. Само местоположение отеля просто идеальное. Буквально пара минут хода и вы на пляже, перед вами островок Parrot Rock(обязательно поднимитесь на него. Фото будут великолепные) который как бы разделяет бухту на две части. Справа Мirissa Beach -большой пляж с широкой береговой линией и волной для любителей прибоя. Тут же множество кафе со свежими морепродуктами. Вечером выставляют столы и можно выбрать любую рыбу, креветки, лобстеры и т.д. , которые вам тут же сразу и приготовят. А слева от Parrot Rock небольшая бухта Turtle Beach от океана закрыта рифами в ней практически нет волны в ней можно спокойно купаться даже маленьким детям.За рифами катаются серферы.Здесь же можно взять на прокат маски и ласты, доску для серфинга. Есть инструкторы , которые помогут освоить серфинг. Так же доступен дайвинг, рыбалка , туры по наблюдению за китами и дельфинами. Рядом находится еще одно очень красивое место Coconut Tree Hill. Здесь можно сделать великолепные фото.Что касается питания , то рядом с отелем множество кафе и ресторанов на любой кошелёк . Всего в полсотни метров находится ресторан Petti Petti Mirissa . Место знаковое для Мириссы. В самом ресторане есть бассейн в котором можно искупаться пока вам готовят заказанные блюда.Очень рекомендую. Ну и ещё, что касаемо отеля хочу особо отметить управляющего отелем господина Кумара.Очень доброжелательный и отзывчивый человек. Если возник какой- то вопрос ,всегда выслушает и поможет решить. Перед выездом я попросил о возможности остаться в отеле до вечера, поскольку у нас вылет был ночью. Мало того , что господин Кумара разрешил нам остаться в номере, но даже не стал брать с нас доплату. Сам сориентировал нас по времени и вызвал для нас такси по приемлемой цене на 8 часов вечера. Кроме него в отеле постоянно находится администратор Кушан. Веселый , добродушный парень. Решит любой вопрос по проживанию. Нужна ли уборка, смена белья, полотенец или ещё что. Смело обращайтесь. Кроме того он хорошо говорит по английски.Можно просто поболтать или расспросить о достопремичательностях. Проживание в отеле очень понравилось. Жаль что было всего две недели. Следующий год обязательно вернусь сюда. Господин Кумара, Кушан, спасибо вам.

Excellent location in the center of Mirissa. Good service, in the rooms, clean. On the first floor is tight. But, the question of money. Want more comfortable, take the luxury on the second. Excellent restaurant with first line prices. In the evening full landing as nowhere around. Staff responsive, respond quickly to requests. I definitely recommend.

Our Sri Lankan vacation began in Mirissa and the Randiya Sea View Hotel. I was worried that our hotel was located right next to the road and would be noisy, but believe me, you'll hear more noise from the ocean waves, which we were absolutely delighted with. The reception staff was very friendly and kind. There's a swimming pool next to the hotel, which we really enjoyed. You can borrow large towels from reception and use them on the sun loungers by the pool. We were lucky enough to catch a gorgeous sunset from our room. A big plus of this hotel is its close proximity to the ocean, despite having to cross the road. We walked to Parrot Rock, which is very close, and Coconut Tree Hill is also within walking distance. There are many cafes with sun loungers along the coastline. We swam on the left side of the beach, closer to Parrot Rock, where the waves are calmer. The hotel has its own parking lot and a restaurant.
