The hotel's location is arguably the best in the Old Town, and it's also considered the top five-star hotel in the area. Although the rooms are a bit on the smaller side, which is expected in the Old Town, it's incredibly convenient for getting around since it's right next to all the main attractions, all within walking distance. The breakfast spread is extensive and very good, and the bedding is decent. The absolute best thing about this hotel is its superb location.

The location is a bit out of the way, not near the bustling Hagia Sophia or Istiklal Avenue. The main issue was that we arrived at 3 AM. During check-in, we confirmed with the front desk that we needed a smoking room. However, after the lobby boy led us to the room, he told us smoking wasn't allowed. We had to call the front desk again to clarify, wasting another 15 minutes in back-and-forth communication. Ultimately, we had to compromise and switch rooms. Plus, my parents' room wasn't even on the same floor as mine. However, I'm very grateful for the bellhop's help and detailed explanations. It's a shame we arrived at the airport too late that day and didn't have cash for a tip.

Overall a lovely stay. A lots of pros- Great breakfast, friendly staff, 24hr gym, free parking, very safe. Booked a one day tour to Troy, got picked up and drop off at the hotel, saved 2 trips to the Istanbul city,a present surprise. Own experience - Location is far and not easily accessible from main tourist attractions. For self drive, the hotel is located next to a highway, if missed the turning, go around is 7 min. Baby pool was not open, swimming hat compulsory or can buy for 130TR from spa desk.

I stayed only for one night and, honestly, I liked the experience. It was a rainy day so I just went to the gym, had some room service, worked a bit (wifi is really good).  Breakfast was great too, especially breads, pastries and sweets sections. The only disappointment (however, a big one) was coffee - I would much rather wait a bit and have it made by a barista.

I had a wonderful stay at Conrad Istanbul Bosphorus. The location is excellent, offering beautiful views of the Bosphorus and easy access to key areas in the city. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with a stunning view that made the stay even more enjoyable. The staff were professional, friendly, and always ready to assist, which really enhanced the overall experience. The facilities, including the gym and pool, were well-maintained, and the breakfast offered a great variety of high-quality options. I did face a minor issue during my stay, but thankfully the customer service from Trip.com was very responsive and helpful. They handled the situation quickly and professionally, which I really appreciated. Overall, everything was great, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul. I would happily stay here again!

The room was excellent, clean and hygienic, with a small rooftop terrace offering a glimpse of the sea. The hotel's location is super convenient; right outside is the Istanbul University station for the T1 tram line. It's only about a 15-minute ride to Hagia Sophia, and just a few more stops to the European side ferry terminals, which is very handy. The breakfast at the hotel was outstanding, with a wide variety of choices. The bread was freshly baked in a small oven right there, and they even had an entire honeycomb to enjoy – incredibly generous! The hotel service was also top-notch. We arrived on an early morning flight, and the kind lady at the front desk enthusiastically helped us check in early. We were able to have a refreshing shower and seamlessly start our day of sightseeing. Highly recommended!

The rooms were, as always, very comfortable, and the bathroom system was excellent. The hotel view was also beautiful, especially from the breakfast restaurant, in the innermost corner, where you can see the strait – truly a delightful breakfast experience. If I had to pick a downside, it would be the surprisingly strict security check to enter The Ritz-Carlton in Istanbul, where both people and bags have to be scanned! I later found out that many diplomats stay here… so… you get it. The hotel provided various chocolates, as shown in the picture. The toiletries cost 45 Euros per bottle if you take them home, but you can use them freely inside the hotel. There were many old maps of Istanbul in the hallway, and my child spent a long time studying them with great interest.

This hotel is excellent in terms of location, facilities and overall environment! If the sightseeing needs of the old city are not taken into consideration, I think the hardware conditions provide a better stay experience than the Four Seasons Hotel Sultanahmet. However, the overall service quality is slightly inferior. Every staff member of the Four Seasons Hotel Sultanahmet is extremely warm and friendly, and always greets guests when they meet them; in contrast, the service staff of the Four Seasons Hotel at the Bosphorus is somewhat uneven. It is worth mentioning that the Turkish restaurant in the hotel is excellent, which is undoubtedly an ideal choice for tasting authentic Turkish food.

The location is absolutely unbeatable. All the main attractions in the historic European Old Town are within a 1km walk, and it's also very close to tram stops and ferry terminals, making it super convenient to get to the European New Town and the Asian side. The room facilities are standard but perfectly adequate, and the cleanliness, from what I could see, had no obvious issues. Breakfast is mostly 'white people food' – beyond bread and eggs, there wasn't much else to eat. The service was very warm; I didn't feel any discrimination, and the front desk proactively upgraded our room. Istanbul has so many cats, and they're all so adorable! I definitely want to come back next time!!!

Disappointed! Reviews were deceptive as they have selected the best pictures to lure in customers- rooftop restaurant of property. Breakfast was lovely and staff in restaurant lovely. Lobby staff would benefit from customer service training. They started well and showed the room - the room looked over at a demolition site and the construction was ongoing and loud. I called and requested another room and they said try tomorrow there is nothing else. I went down to talk to them and they appeared to get into an argument with each other in Turkish and then showed me another room with a tiny window. I preferred to stay in the one with the demolition noise- which they seemed to think was fine as the noise would stop at 6pm. They also told me the sauna was chargeable and swimming pool free. Again why advertise facilities without sharing this. We decided to stay as we had paid up and didn’t have much choice- nothing better was offered the next day- left after two days and upon check out no thanks or hope you had a pleasant stay- just a - did you consume from the mini bar- no?- fine you’re clear. We hadn’t argued or caused a scene but were made to feel very uncomfortable. As a frequent traveller - having visited three other hotels in trabzon- Rize- which were not four star but so much better and having visited Istanbul several times already- - these lot could Definitely could do with training and learn how to say thank you. I would not stay again.

Sultan Ahmed Mosque Istanbul|0.24km from city center
This hotel boasts a distinctive Turkish design throughout. The building we stayed in had a small inner garden with a bar, which was lovely. Unfortunately, we visited in winter when it was too cold, so we couldn't truly enjoy the garden's ambiance. I imagine it would be very pleasant to sit there in the summer or when the weather is milder. The hotel's location is absolutely superb. It's about a 2-minute walk to Hagia Sophia, 2-3 minutes to the Blue Mosque, and 5-10 minutes to the Basilica Cistern. Most of the main attractions are concentrated nearby. We did almost all our sightseeing on foot: Hagia Sophia in the morning, then the Basilica Cistern, back to the hotel for a rest, off to a museum, another break in the room, and then the Blue Mosque. The entire itinerary felt very relaxed and convenient. You can also walk to the Grand Bazaar and Süleymaniye Mosque, so the location is a huge plus. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite, which was quite spacious and comfortable. However, there were a couple of drawbacks: firstly, the ceiling was a bit low, which made it feel a little confining after a while; secondly, while the window could open, it only opened a small amount, and there was an ornate design outside, so the overall natural light and ventilation felt a bit lacking. Additionally, our room was close to a small street below, and the noise was quite noticeable. There were staff activities during the day, and pedestrians passed by in the evenings and early mornings, making it generally quite noisy. This was a significant downside of our stay. I suspect rooms closer to the inner garden would be much quieter. There's a Chinese restaurant within walking distance of the hotel. The food was average, but it's an option for Chinese cuisine when abroad. There are other restaurants nearby, but we didn't try them all this time. It's worth noting that vehicles cannot pull up directly to the hotel entrance; they have to park in a nearby parking lot. Drivers contact the hotel in advance, and the hotel arranges a shuttle service, which was generally well-organized. Overall, the hotel's biggest advantages are its prime location and its distinctive design. It's ideal for those who want to explore the main attractions of the Old City extensively on foot. If you're sensitive to noise, I'd recommend prioritizing rooms facing the inner courtyard or garden.

Overall, my stay at the Istanbul Medikal Termal Hotel was very good. The rooms were comfortable and clean, providing a pleasant environment to relax in. I especially appreciated the late check-out option, which allowed me to enjoy a more leisurely departure. One downside was that guests are charged to use the pool, which I found disappointing. It would have been better if this was included in the room fee, as it felt like an unnecessary extra cost. Despite this, the hotel offers a convenient location and a generally positive experience. It’s a good choice if you're looking for a comfortable stay in Istanbul.

This is a superb hotel. We were given a room on the 18th floor with a wonderful view, partially overlooking the Bosphorus. The room was well-equipped with everything we needed: bathrobes, an ironing board and iron, a capsule coffee machine, and convenient refillable dispensers for shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, and lotion. Housekeeping cleaned every day, but at random times. We received one liter of water per person, and more was available at breakfast. Water was also provided in the sauna, or you could simply ask for it. The breakfasts were excellent. They offered red fish, blue cheese, a variety of freshly squeezed juices, fruits, and poached eggs. For the first time in Turkey, I found delicious cold cuts and a system for ordering omelets without waiting in line – a waiter would bring it to you, along with drinks. There were also yogurts, muesli, and pastries. The hotel has an excellent pool with comfortable sun loungers featuring thick mattresses and pillows. Staff would lay out towels and bring umbrellas. Nearby, there was a sauna and a hammam. There's a bar, but the prices are quite steep. The location is also excellent. There are plenty of places to eat around, a metro station, and bus stops. The Havaist airport shuttle stops across the street, and Taksim Square is nearby. I loved absolutely everything about this hotel. If I'm ever in Istanbul again, I will definitely return.

Levent - Maslak Istanbul|8.55km from city center
Overall, my stay at this hotel was excellent. The location was perfect, the facilities were outstanding, and the hotel offered a very convenient feature: the basement level is directly connected to two shopping malls, which made shopping and dining extremely easy. The rooms, cleanliness, and overall atmosphere met the standards expected from a five-star hotel, and I was very satisfied with most aspects of my stay. However, my main concern was the reception staff. I found their attitude unprofessional and unfriendly. For a five-star hotel, I expected a warmer welcome and more courteous communication. The staff rarely smiled and sometimes spoke in a rough manner. One particular incident was disappointing. I asked a receptionist whether the minibar items were complimentary or chargeable, and I was told in a dismissive way that they were free. However, during checkout, I was informed that the minibar items were not free and I was charged approximately $60. This created an unpleasant ending to an otherwise enjoyable stay. Despite this issue, the hotel itself is very good, but I believe the reception team’s professionalism and communication need improvement to match the quality of the property.

Hotel is having a good first impression. Two things were below our expectation. When we arrived after midnight the room was not ready and they needed to call the housekeeping to first have the 3rd bed installed. Secondly the room size. The room was a bit small, but it was spotlessly clean. There was only one charging outlet by the bed, which was quite inconvenient. In our particular room, the single USB port by the bed had a loose connection and was completely unusable. As a result, we awkwardly had to charge our devices in the bathroom and from floor outlets near the entrance. The service was generally good. Overall a very good hotel. Most impressed by its outstanding service and good food. Stayed in the Yildiz room which faces the street but was very well sound insulated so it is very quiet and peaceful. It was also very well light insulated and perfect for sleeping in. A point to note, there is the actual Ciragan Palace and the new annexe which houses the actual hotel with its rooms, restaurants and facilities. The actual Ciragan Palace houses only about 10 top suites and is used mostly as its meetings and events venue. It is lovely to be able to walk around the Palace and stroll along the Bosphorus on Palace's promenade.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and liked its location. Staff are friendly and helpful and we appreciated the daily room cleaning and reset. The best feature of the hotel is that it is well situated to explore Istanbul and is about a 10 minute walk to the Sultanahmet Square where you will find many of the main attractions in Istanbul like Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. There is a tram line station very close to the hotel and it is a short walk to Sirkeci metro station. It was a good base for us as we checked out the areas across the water. It is a little far from both airports with each taking about 1.5 hours to get to but we felt the location was worth the time. The room's decor was a bit aged but charming. The beds were comfy and you can get extra pillows here. The room ran a bit warm during our stay but it was a bit noisy outside with frequent tram trains and restaurants below so we kept the window shut. They do have air conditioning and a radiator but we felt the AC wasn't worth turning on during a cool stay in December. Our neighbours were a bit noisy and it kept my wife up but I had no issues sleeping. It was moderately inconvenient when the restaurant decided to pop their new year's eve decorations at 1 in the morning. The bathroom was good and clean with good shower pressure, soft towels and we appreciated the warming rack for the towels. They provide soap and shampoo in dispensers in the shower. The breakfast was decent enough to start the day. They had enough to do a Turkish style breakfast and most options were pretty light. They had some hot items like sausage, scrambled eggs and other options that changed daily. They also had an area for cold items like cheese, labneh, yoghurt, vegetables and some cold cuts. They had a limited selection of fruit with some oranges and apples. They also had coffee, tea, juice and water. I had an early check out on my last day and they made me a nice bagged lunch to go to the airport with and have me a big can of juice which was very nice. The hotel provides bottled water for guests as well as lots of tea for in room use. The hotel has a restaurant on site and a small outdoor patio that is open for lunch, dinner and late dinner. They have some spa and massage treatments that you can book at the front desk. There are quite a few bath, restaurants, shops and other experiences nearby. People in the area are very friendly, welcoming and will invite you into their shop or restaurant...frequently.

We had a very unpleasant experience with stuff at the lobby , being there for Christmas Eve , me & my sister decide to eat inside the hotel rather to go out so at 10 pm we came down to the lobby where there is lounge area , for almost 15 minutes we saw that the lounge staff is passing us without asking if we want to order so I called one of the waitress and she came toward us with furious gestures before I start asking she said to me do you have a room in the hotel and I said yes , she continues what’s your room number and I replied , again with the cold face and rude behavior she continues ‘ under the name ?’ And I replied, she turned back to her desk without asking us what we would like to order and From her desk she went straight to reception to verify my information!!! My jaws dropped when I saw this , really rude & unprofessional behavior I was in complete shock that she even went to reception to verify the information, but the worst part was that after she verified and actually saw that we are the guest of the hotel she turned back to her desk and continued ignoring us , I never ever seen in my entire life a waitress permits herself to act like this with 5 star hotel guests, at this point we asked another waitress that if she can took our order , we then asked her if the hotel have another restaurant and she replied yes but the kitchen is closed after 10:30 pm , I don’t recommend this hotel for anyone that wants to enjoy the hotel facility, the staff are not guest friendly, the dining section is in some floor but for person like me that wants more easy snacks and chill area wasn’t really good option, not to mention that when we came back to our room we really felt so heavy and frustrated by this behavior, we were supposed to go today to lounge before departing but as for yesterday experience we just decide to check out soon and leave the hotel because we didn’t like to tolerate the attitude of this waitress ( she is the short women with short brown hair ) I suggest the general manager to see the video of yesterday and review their staff!

How to say it? It's hard to describe it in one sentence. After we arrived, the service staff was very enthusiastic and strongly recommended us to go to another hotel, saying that the room was bigger and better, and closer to the tourist attractions. The location is indeed super good, but the hotel is very small, the suitcase can't be put in, and the bed is even smaller, about 90 cm. I feel cheated. . . The service staff is very arrogant. There are no other rooms. They won't change us, and we can't change back to the previous hotel. . How to say it, it's terrible to bring leaders out. This place is suitable for young people to come, go back and fall asleep, and go to the Internet celebrity restaurant to punch in and eat in the morning. In short, this hotel is extreme, the location is extremely good, and the room is extremely bad. You can choose it yourself. I cannot say cause I did not stay in this hotel, they introduced another hotel nearby. Room is so small, location is good.hmm..

A lovely hotel - super aesthetic, and you can tell it's full of culture. We arrived around 2 am, tired as expected, and the receptionist was just wonderful. There was some confusion around the deposit and method of payment, but he was extra patient and accommodating. Just a shame that no one greeted us outside / helped with the bags, which we saw happen for some other guests (for us, the concierge just stood at the entrance watching us - not really the kind of welcome I'd expect for a 5 star hotel). We asked for two room cards, one of which stopped working on the second day, but that was quickly fixed by reception. We also realized that one card worked better for turning the room 'on' than the other card. One would always 'disconnect' and turn the electricity off, so that took a bit of trial and error. Calling reception wasn't always productive, unfortunately. Sometimes they didn't answer at all, so we had to go downstairs to them instead. The housekeeping line was a bit more useful. We asked reception/housekeeping for an iron/ironing board and had to wait almost 45 minutes for it. We also asked for room service and we could tell the bedsheets weren't changed / bathroom wasn't cleaned. It wasn't really an issue for us, but for a 5 star hotel, I expected a little better room service. We loved the breakfast. So many options and a great variety. Some of the waiters/waitresses didn't seem too happy to be there, which isn't great when you're going to have breakfast and see unhappy faces all around you. But, I came across the sous chef on more than one occasion and he was a delight. There was one waiter who was also lovely, and chatted to me about where I was from and how interested he was in the Spanish language. Location of the hotel is great, within walking distance for several of Istanbul's 'hot spots'. Only 10 min walk from the ferry station, about 15 min walk to Hagia Sophia or the Grand Bazaar, and a bit further to get to the Blue Mosque. Galata Tower is also within walking distance if you enjoy a good walk. If not, there are plenty of tram/bus stations around. We stayed for 6 nights and never needed to use the tram/bus, though (walked around 15k-16k steps a day!).

A little further down the road from the hotel, there's a popular kebab shop (I found it on 'that' social media platform) that's excellent in terms of both taste and price. The hotel has a small table outside where you can enjoy the evening breeze. It's lovely to come back after a day out, take a shower, and then go across the street for a cup of black tea and relax. It's truly delightful. Overall, the price and location are both excellent, offering a very relaxed and comfortable stay.

The room was clean and well-appointed. The staff were exceptionally courteous and proactively offered to help with our luggage. A supermarket is conveniently located directly across the street for stocking up on essentials. Complimentary instant coffee and black tea are provided daily in the room. The location is also quite convenient for exploring various attractions.

The hotel’s location and cleanliness were very good. However, the housekeeping staff did not change the bed sheets during my stay, and the rooms could be cleaned more thoroughly. The sound insulation between rooms is not very good, and you can easily hear noise from neighboring rooms. Overall, the stay was pleasant, but there is definitely room for improvement in housekeeping and soundproofing.

Conveniently located with plenty of cafes and shops nearby. Sultanahmet Square and the Egyptian Bazaar are also close. It's a leisurely 5-minute walk to the tram stop. The place is clean and warm, with daily cleaning service. The managers at the front desk are polite, attentive, and quick to respond to requests. They also speak good Russian. No complaints, I'd happily recommend it.

Great location and a lovely team of people. Breakfast needs a little work (chicken nuggets??) and some of the amenities in the rooftop suite didn’t work e.g. jacuzzi bath. For exploring the old town it’s a great hotel choice but go for one of the middle rooms rather than the high end one. High end may be better elsewhere.

I had a very pleasant stay at Four Sides Lion Hotel Taksim. The location is excellent, just a short walk from Taksim Square, metro stations, restaurants, and shops, which made it very convenient for exploring Istanbul. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with any request. The room was clean, cozy, and comfortable. I especially liked the bed and pillows, which helped me sleep very well after long day. The hotel offers good value for money, and overall I enjoyed my stay very much. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul.

The location is fantastic, and the surrounding area is bustling. The only downside is that you have to take a roundabout way to get to the beach, and taxi drivers often confuse this hotel with the Kempinski next door. 😀

I had an excellent stay at **Triada Residence hotel **** I would especially like to thank the daytime receptionist, who was incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help. We were welcomed with traditional Turkish tea, and he kindly helped us check in earlier than the scheduled time. We had just arrived after a long journey, so this thoughtful gesture made a big difference and was greatly appreciated. The breakfast was another highlight of our stay. It offered a wide variety of fresh and delicious options, making it easy for everyone to find something they enjoyed. The hotel has two buildings: one is located on the corner, as shown in the photos, and the other is set a little farther inside, where we stayed. We found it to be quiet, comfortable, and very pleasant. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. The staff were welcoming, the rooms were clean, and the location was excellent. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
