I arrived before 2pm (start of checkin) and they let me enter my room. I was so lucky and thankful as my journey to Jeddah was tiring :-)
In between my stays I often asked the reception to send the housekeeping into my room to set it up a little bit when I’m off in the city and the housekeeping did an excellent job! Everything was clean and well equipped. And I got my water and coffee daily.
The area around this Ibis hotel is okayish. Could be better and without a car it can be dangerous, too as there is a highway with lots of traffic next to it. But I somehow managed it to walk some distances although Jeddah isn’t a walkable city.
The closest supermarket is as Danube and about a 20 minute walk. The closest bus stop to get to the historic city center of Jeddah was also a 20 minute walk.
Unfortunately on my last day the reception called me at around 11:30am and was asking why I didn’t check out. I told them that when I checked in I asked for a late checkout and the receptionist agreed to 1:30pm. I told him to type it into the system, but he didn’t. Otherwise no one would have called me before. Please update your staff especially when I did give a notice to do so and to avoid the calls when I need some proper rest before a long journey.
All in all my experience was nice. I even visited the gym, which was well equipped. 5 stars goes to the excellent housekeeping!!! 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟From€67

One Cheapest international chain hotel in Jeddah.. small no view room, bit Humid carpet. Water at bathroom but yellow. Old furnished, with firm bed matras.
Breakfast not that bad..but no standby cooker at the egg stay, lazy for service.

Fabulous hotel. Lovely lobby with fountain as you enter. Love the sound of water. And the fragrance. This hotel smells so good. Desk staff are very helpful and unrushed. My room had an excellent view of King Fahd's fountain. The room itself had plenty of space and was very clean. The shower pressure was strong and the water hot. I slept well on a big comfortable bed with comfortable pillows. The hotel has been around for decades but still looks great. It is a very short walk to the Corniche. I will stay here again next time I'm in Jeddah. Value for money.From€92

Ctrip showes it’s opened in 2022, but actually this hotel is really too old, at 15 years old. The receptionist scanned the room card too times, but I can’t enter into the room, I was so tired, they didn’t do the right job.
And they firstly gave me a room with very bad smell, which came from the old carpet. I requested to change to another room, it’s not as worse as before, but it’s still bad.

This trip took us to Jeddah, Riyadh, and Dubai. I spent the shortest time in Jeddah, but I still miss this hotel because the service and amenities were excellent.
Overall, it felt better than their other properties. It's a half-star hotel, and I'm not sure why.

The breakfast might be an epidemic. There are many locals, and it's basically Arab style, but you can eat it anyway. Tableware, pots and pans are available, home appliances are good, and very new, washing machine, microwave oven, refrigerator, electric ceramic stove, other hair dryers, irons are also OK. The network is also very fast. The only complaint is that the outdoor unit of the air conditioner in the underground garage is hotter than the outdoors. Every day someone comes to change bed sheets and bath towels. In short, it is quite comfortable for business travel, and the price is small.SOLD OUT

Facilities: The hotel is quite new and the room equipment is good
Service: The service is very good. The hotel front desk prepared iced fruit drinks, Arabic coffee, cookies and dates for us to try for free. The guy at the front desk also enthusiastically taught us Arabic and introduced how to say thank you and hello in Arabic.
Environment: The location of the hotel is not very good. Although it seems to be very close to the airport and the Sea Mosque, the amusement park and racing track next to it are under construction and the roads are blocked. Therefore, it is impossible to walk directly to the beach from the hotel. You have to drive 10 minutes with twists and turns to get to the Sea Mosque. Next to the hotel is the racing track, which is under construction and a bit noisy.SOLD OUT

I arrived from Makkah were I had an awful experience and stay at the hotel Marriott Courtyard (very dirty and I got an asthma crisis because of that, an horrible one).
At our arrival at the Movempick hotel, Mr Abdelrahman, the responsable in the lobby for the reservation without knowing my story but, certainly by seeing my state, upgrade discretely my reservation. It was a beautiful and spacious room. Exactly what my husband and I needed 🥰 at this time. A very warmly Thank you.. you will find it on your way inchallah.
Regarding the hotel, it is very clean, very professional and friendly staff.
The only missing points: a spa , a sauna and a bigger swimming pool ( it was a children swimming pool ) .

This was our first stay in Jeddah, and the level of service at this hotel far exceeded our expectations. They treated us as family, gave us tours of the huge hotel and the Corniche. We were greeted with a welcome drink and a fruit basket. The lobby is incredible with live music in the evenings. The restaurant may be a little over priced but with will prepared food and wonderful service. The live band was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and the room had nice amenities. The shower had low pressure and odd temperature settings. Overall, one of our favorite stays. We will be back. I wouldn't consider staying at a different hotel. This felt like home.From€203

The first time I stayed in a hotel, I felt that I bought a brand. Hilton's Waldorf. To be honest, it is obviously cheaper for the shared resources Hilton. Of course, I understand that the brand positioning may be a high level. But the service did not keep up. I basically saw three staff members when I checked in. No one helped pull the luggage. I checked in at a lazy front desk and there was a very unbelievable African door. Because he needs his card to go to the SpA floor to swim, he will also question the guests with permission. Overall, there is no service at all, and it may be that this is super luxurious and cold positioning. The first time I met a hotel without breakfast in 2000➕, I had to go to Hilton for breakfast.
