I enjoyed my stay here. I appreciate the stylish lobby decor, and the receptionist staff was very polite and friendly. The kids club is wonderful, we played PlayStation and did some coloring. There's a gym nearby, and the toilet at the kids club is spotless. The hotel is extremely kids friendly, and my children loved everything about it. My room was clean, and the housekeeping team did a fantastic job with the cleaning. The breakfast is delicious. ❤

This hotel has very good location, middle of the town, easy access to mall, 2 min walk as it is in front of the hotel..the room is spacious, all is good until i tried the sink a bit tersumbat, and safety box out of battery…so requested to change the room but the manager denied ans asked maintenance to check first, eventually after check, as i was saying, that room problem, lucky i got another room that solve this issue But i think thus hotel need to improve of all of their rooms..safety box and the sink especially, the rest still in order .. Anyway, this hotel still have very good demand ..;)

Although the exterior of the hotel looks a little dated, don’t let that fool you—the interior is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The room and bathroom were spotless. The towels, bed linens, and pillowcases were clean, fresh, and smelled great. The room was also well equipped with almost everything you might need, including an iron, hair dryer, face towels, and room slippers. The air conditioning and lighting worked perfectly throughout my stay. One feature I especially appreciated was the reading light above the bed. I don’t like sleeping in complete darkness, so being able to leave just that light on made the room very comfortable for me. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel.

Nice location, about 15min drive to the city center. Self check-in was easy, got designated parking space as well. The unit was clean, it has a small room with a single bed.. and 1 queen bed outside. Satisfied with the price. Facilities- gym, big pool (designated for kids). Nice long beach at the back. This place is recommended for a family getaway.

the room was clean,the bed was soft so as the blanket and pillow,we had a really good sleep. the toilet have good space,and water heater also working good. the aircond also working good,only our room got window but facing building so couldnt see anything. the location is few kilometers from town centre and about 7km from UIA kuantan where our event was. there was lift for hotel,the lobby also quite clean and properly arranged. one bad thing is the t.v was not working at all for our 2 night stay.the reception didnt inform anything to us until we curious why the t.v was plugged off.after call the reception only they tell the t.v channel got problem,and we had to stay there 2 nights without watching anything,quite bored.even the 2nd night it was not fix and looks like nobody attended to this problem.

I had terible experience stay under this management. Beds full of bugs, toilet were VERY dirty. Ask the management to clean up the unit but the management changed my room, after change room, same problem occur, toilet still dirty, FLUSH BROKEN, can't flush. Only bugs dissapear in the second unit. Please check carefully before you check in. I dont understand they actively open these unit for rental. you better check carefully ya. Aminities all A+ under the Timurbay, only this management were the main problem.

1st night was good experience. staff was friendly. can't download pahanggo app to pay parking - not sure why. and staff offered to help. so I extended 2nd night stay. Unfortunately i did not ask for room service earlier so evening of 2nd night I had to ask for clean towel and fresh water bottles. I waited more than 1 hour and these items were not delivered. sent my kid down. He went up and down several times and they refused to release towel or water bottle. I had to call and they insisted they have sent/forgotten. By the time I got frustrated, and they realised that I am serious about needing towels and water, a lady finally came up at 11.30pm with fresh towel on condition that the dirty ones must be swapped and she insisted i look around for it to double and triple check the room. That was another stand-off on a very late night where I cannot find the old towels. And no water bottles.

My recent stay at Timur Bay in Kuantan was truly a delightful experience. The unit felt very cosy and well put together, with everything I needed conveniently available throughout my stay. It was clean, comfortable, and perfectly adequate for my family of five. All tools and equipment provided in the unit were functional, clean, and efficient, which made our stay even more pleasant. The overall environment was neat and inviting, and I felt a genuine sense of ease during our time there. It was clear that attention had been given to the details, and it showed. The facilities surrounding the apartment were also great. It's just a short walk to the beach, where I had the peaceful pleasure of enjoying the morning sunrise while reading the Quran and sipping on hot chocolate—a perfect start to the day. The pool was clean and well-maintained, and the sea nearby is lovely for both swimming and jogging. Security was tight and reassuring, with access to most areas requiring a resident card. This added a sense of safety, especially with kids around. For daily necessities, TMG Express and various local shops, restaurants, and warungs are conveniently located just outside the main gate. The unit itself is ideally positioned to enjoy both sunrise and sunset views, making it even more special. Although the drive to Kuantan town and shopping malls takes about 20–30 minutes depending on traffic, for a holiday or leisure trip, Timor Bay is an excellent choice. For business trips, you may want to consider the commute. Overall, it was a very pleasant and fulfilling stay. I would definitely recommend Timur Bay for families or anyone looking for a relaxing and complete holiday experience in Kuantan.

A very relaxing holiday spot. There's a pool, with separate sections for kids and adults. They even have a lifeguard, which is great! The beach is also easily accessible from the resort. I'll definitely repeat this stay. There are plenty of delicious food options nearby, and the hotel food is good too, but if you have a big family and want to save money, it's better to eat out. Room service is super fast; food arrived at our door within 30 minutes of ordering! 😍 Plenty of parking available. Everything was just great.

I really liked this place. Its very private and secluded, and there weren’t many guests during our stay so it felt like we had the beach to ourselves. Breakfast was peaceful and we also tried the room service, the food was surprisingly good. However for a private resort at this price point, I expected a better overall experience and more attention to detail. I checked in on my birthday, and while I wasn’t expecting anything extravagant, I had hoped for at least a simple birthday greeting during check-in. Unfortunately, there was no acknowledgment at all, which was a little disappointing. The biggest issue was the room condition. The floor was extremely wet and slippery and the walls felt damp. At first I thought the floor had just been mopped but after a few hours the problem became even worse. We had to call housekeeping twice to mop the floor and a technician came to inspect it. We were told it was caused by the air conditioner. Eventually, we gave up and asked for extra towels to place on the floor to prevent anyone from slipping, as shown in the photos. The toilet seat was also dirty and should have been replaced. What disappointed me most was the lack of follow-up. During check-out no one apologized for the inconvenience even though we had reported the issue twice. No one asked whether the problem had been resolved or if our stay had been affected. Overall, the resort offers excellent privacy, beautiful views, and a peaceful atmosphere. Unfortunately, the room condition and the lack of customer service overshadowed what should have been a memorable birthday stay. Considering the price we paid, I expected much better attention to both maintenance and guest experience.

The homestay was beautiful, and the moment we opened the balcony, we were greeted with a stunning sea view. We arrived in the afternoon, and the tide was low at that time. We saw some tourists walking along the beach, so we joined them for a stroll. The staff were very polite, warm, and sincere, providing attentive and thoughtful service throughout our stay. The unique beachfront scenery is even more stunning than in the photos. The food was above average, and we ended up having all our meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—at the hotel during our stay. We also tried the massage therapy, and I have to say the environment was absolutely amazing—listening to the sound of the waves while enjoying professional massage techniques was a five-star experience. We also went on a Jungle Trial. There are a few spots where clearer directional signage could be added. As a small suggestion for the hotel, you might consider setting up a small shop selling souvenirs,postcards and snacks. Guests can truly relax and spend a leisurely time within the hotel without needing to go anywhere. I would definitely come back again.

First time at Sri Manja. Booked 3 rooms. Reception was nice and helpful. Check in was smooth. But the rooms were not thoroughly cleaned, still can see dusks everywhere. The toilets had a weird smell and the sink got clogged everytime we ran the tap. The towels looked worn and old. They had an ironing room on each floor but the ironing boards looked as if they might collapse anytime soon. The make up room was late on the next day and one of my rooms were excluded hence NO fresh towels and thrash not taken out. Probably because Sri Manja has a lot of rooms to be taken care of. All in all please do improve and replace those items that require replacement. The location is already strategic close to wide selection of nice and decent restraurants, convenients stores, 24hrs laundry, clinics and more. All the best. And thank you.

The reception was quick in action and response to our needs. Overall, we enjoy our stay and hope the management would look into housekeeping. Basic room amenities are not provided which was stated on the website upon booking confirmation. We have to request for toothbrushes and paste, HANDSOAP, shower cap. The floor maps and hand towels were not clean. The kettle was out of order and the replacement unit come with rust inside the boiling plate. It would be good that there is a check list after cleaning up or hand over to the next customer.

This hotel is always my top choice whenever I'm in Kuantan, especially for short getaways or quick business trips. It's strategically located right in the city center, next to a food court and with a restaurant nearby. The hotel is clean and the front desk service is fast. The only downside is the water pressure, which isn't stable – sometimes strong, sometimes weak. Overall, it's good and suitable.

I had a very pleasant stay at Shahzan Kuantan. The hotel is in an excellent location, close to the beach, local attractions, and many restaurants, making it very convenient for both leisure and business travellers. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were friendly, courteous, and always ready to assist with any requests. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast offered a good variety of delicious local and international dishes, and the overall facilities were well kept. The hotel’s warm hospitality and comfortable environment made my stay relaxing and memorable. I would definitely recommend Shahzan Kuantan to anyone visiting Kuantan and would be happy to stay here again in the future.

Although the exterior of the hotel looks a little dated, don’t let that fool you—the interior is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The room and bathroom were spotless. The towels, bed linens, and pillowcases were clean, fresh, and smelled great. The room was also well equipped with almost everything you might need, including an iron, hair dryer, face towels, and room slippers. The air conditioning and lighting worked perfectly throughout my stay. One feature I especially appreciated was the reading light above the bed. I don’t like sleeping in complete darkness, so being able to leave just that light on made the room very comfortable for me. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel.

There's only one restaurant next to the hotel, but it's only open from late afternoon till midnight. The room is decent and comfortable, and an iron and water dispenser are provided outside the room.

The hotel is great, I got a corner room. The toilet is very spacious, being an end unit. The only downside is the room is a bit noisy because it's close to the main road, and the window seems a bit loose (even when closed), as I could hear cars passing by, especially motorbikes. There's a fridge, but no complimentary toiletries are provided by the hotel. The hotel's location is near ECM. However, at night, many foreigners hang out around the hotel. Parking is available, but if you arrive late, you might not find a spot. There's a bus station behind the hotel.
