The photos fooled me into thinking it was better than it is. It seemed like maybe a step above Motel 6. The front door had a sizable gap between the jamb and the door. Light shine through. It also let in all the noise from the courtyard, neighbors, and street. The wifi worked sometimes. I asked for no maid service since I had my stuff strewn everywhere. They respected that. There was no Do Not Disturb sign to better indicate. The one they gave me on request was always blowing off the doorknob. Everything just felt cheap, with the ”continental breakfast” of FrootLoops and other cereals, pop-up waffles, etc. I went down the street to an excellent café every day instead. There was also a hole above the registration desk that had been patched but not painted. Can't say I'd stay there again.

The room itself was decent and the bathroom was clean, with a comfortable shower. Breakfast was a delight, and the check-in and check-out services were warm and efficient. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations and added a special touch to our trip. Highly recommended!

Horse experiences available.The spaceOn many nights the sound of the ocean is a wonderful lullaby, complemented at times by distant frog song. The spring mornings are awash with birdsong. Watching the Wild Turkey or Mule Deer come out in the meadow is a sweet experience.This has an open, studio floorplan, so none of the bedrooms close off with walls and door. Downstairs, in the room to the backside of the fireplace, is the king bed. There is an upstairs loft area with a queen bed, desk, chairs, and half bath. There is also another loft with single bed accessed by the captain's ladder, and the stargazing room beyond that. There are additional foldout beds that can be put on the floor and in the stargazing room to make it a king sized sleeping space. And there is a daybed overlooking the meadow, that can be a sleeping area. The captain's ladder and loft is not intended for children due to the nature of the ladder. Very nice hotel, it seems to be run by an Indian couple, so the style is different from ordinary American motels. It is very new. The two people pay attention to life and build the hotel beautifully. It is especially important to mention that the boy is very handsome and human. Especially Nice, with super good attitude, highly recommended! The bed is very high and soft, carpeted, swings in the yard, vending machines, no breakfast, wake up late, but overtime or early breakfast requires an extra 4 dollars, and better, parking is free, parking lot next to the yard, there is a courtyard wall . There is a Sichuan restaurant (and Japanese sushi) not far away with Chinese service.

One of the best hotels in Fort Bragg! Upon arriving the grounds are beautiful. They are remodeling but it’s a beautiful property. The hostess was a very nice girl. Polite & well spoken. The common area was clean & smelled like cinnamon. Our room was clean. And bed was comfy. I think this is probably the only hotel that offers a hot breakfast. That’s a plus! The breakfast was very good. Great variety of things to choose from. They also have an indoor pool. One thing I did not like… upon leaving breakfast I heard the what I believe to be the owner getting loud & talking to to staff very rudely. It sound like a lady of Indian decent. It was so uncalled for. Nobody deserves to be talked to by any employer in such a way. Do better! I loved the stay but I’m not sure I can support a business that treats employees like that. So I’m not sure I will return.

My wife and I recently stayed at Heritage House Resort and Spa and had a great overall experience. The property sits right along the coastal cliffs and is honestly one of the biggest highlights. The views are beautiful, especially with the mix of ocean, greenery, and open space. We had a nice view of the water along with the surrounding fields and trees. It felt peaceful and relaxing, which is exactly what we were looking for. The property itself was clean and well maintained. Staff at the front desk were friendly and attentive, and check in was smooth. Breakfast was also a nice bonus. Good quality and a great way to start the day with that coastal view. Overall, it’s a great spot for a quiet getaway and we’d definitely consider coming back.

There are two bedrooms upstairs (1 king, 1 queen) along with a Captains bed (full) and a half bath. The master bedroom provides a great ocean view, with sounds of the Pacific to lull you to sleep. On the main floor is the kitchen, living room, large bathroom/laundry room and the sun room. The kitchen is spacious with a 9' table that comfortably seats 10. There is also an island that provides for more intimate dining. The downstairs bedroom has two twin beds that look out to the ocean with honeysuckle and rose bushes at your windows. There is a large bathroom/laundry room with a claw foot tub bath/shower combination. The living room is light and bright with an impressive masonry fireplace that warms both the downstairs and upstairs. The sun room is at the front of the house, facing the ocean with wicker chairs to read, knit or watch the waves roll in.Just behind the house, is a trail that leads to some of the most beautiful bluffs and views, along the Pacific. Beautiful hotel that looks new. Location is at the end of a string of businesses, with empty space on the side and in back. Front desk staff were very good. The only thing was breakfast went until 9:30, but at 9:15 they were out of eggs, cinnamon rolls, and orange juice (at least). They eventually brought out some more eggs. Apple juice tasted like it was going bad. So if they get their breakfast service up to snuff, this will be a real go-to.

We stayed here for two nights on our road trip between Seattle and San Francisco and it was a good choice. The place was welcoming, plenty of parking, coffee making facilities in the room and fridge. We had a balcony overlooking the river so we could watch the seals swimming. The bathroom had a bath and shower which were clean. No issues staying at this hotel again.

One of the best hotels in Fort Bragg! Upon arriving the grounds are beautiful. They are remodeling but it’s a beautiful property. The hostess was a very nice girl. Polite & well spoken. The common area was clean & smelled like cinnamon. Our room was clean. And bed was comfy. I think this is probably the only hotel that offers a hot breakfast. That’s a plus! The breakfast was very good. Great variety of things to choose from. They also have an indoor pool. One thing I did not like… upon leaving breakfast I heard the what I believe to be the owner getting loud & talking to to staff very rudely. It sound like a lady of Indian decent. It was so uncalled for. Nobody deserves to be talked to by any employer in such a way. Do better! I loved the stay but I’m not sure I can support a business that treats employees like that. So I’m not sure I will return.

I  measured with iPhone’s Measurement app and used ChatGPT to evaluate the photo, both concluded that the bed is only full size. But the hotel said it is a queen, no way to argue!  The next morning, the toilet got clogged, fortunately, the clerk, 10 minutes after calling up the owner, gave us another room for our morning routine. They could do better, they should have us the new room right the way, the clerk of the front desk should have more empowerment in this kind of situation.  Breakfast is the most simplistic! Though the coffee is strong and good, it is the only bright item.
