The hotel's location is fantastic, right in the city center, yet it's surprisingly quiet at night, ensuring a peaceful sleep! They also arrange parking, which was incredibly convenient as we didn't have to search for a spot ourselves. In the evening, it was super easy to walk to attractions like Shan Lake, the Sun and Moon Pagodas, and East and West Alley – most were just a pleasant 5-10 minute stroll away. The lobby offered freshly brewed Luo Han Guo tea, and the front desk staff, noticing we had sore throats, even gifted us some upon checkout – so thoughtful! Our room was clean and tidy, with all the necessary amenities. While it's not a brand-new hotel, you can tell it's very well-maintained. There's also a self-service laundry room and a restaurant upstairs. The breakfast had a great variety, and the Guilin rice noodles were particularly delicious! Overall, a really good experience!

I brought my family to Guilin this time and chose the Dragon's Den Puyu Hotel's [Elephant Trunk Hill View Two-Bedroom Triple Room]. The hotel is directly opposite Gate 1 of Elephant Trunk Hill Park. It's just a three-minute walk across the street to the scenic area entrance. Our room's window faced Elephant Trunk Hill directly; pulling back the curtains revealed Guilin's iconic landscape painting. The room had everything – a fridge, mini-bar, and a bathroom with a separate wet and dry area, which made for a really comfortable stay!

Upon arrival, I found that a section of the hotel was under renovation. There were a lot of construction materials near the elevator entrance and plenty of dust from the renovation on the floor. My family even joked that after all my careful searching, I ended up picking a hotel undergoing renovations! There was a slight formaldehyde smell inside the elevator on my floor, but it became very faint once we entered the room, almost unnoticeable unless you specifically tried to smell it. The room had no windows and felt a bit stuffy, which I knew before booking. There was a faint musty smell in the room, and I'm not sure if it was related to the lack of ventilation. However, the room itself was relatively clean. Overall, I really didn't expect the renovation... I was a bit taken aback during check-in 😮. I hope things improve once the renovations are complete.

Ha, the advantage of Lefeng is the fine decoration and 20+ square meters. It seems not as stable and practical as other cheaper brands. 1. There is a pull rod outside the bathroom door but not inside. In fact, it can be pushed open in both directions. 2. The faucet design is difficult to understand and control, and the wash basin is very small and splashes water. 3. The toilet paper holder is crooked and the paper fell to the ground. 4. There is no shelf in the shower. The toiletries are placed on the old crooked big bottle, which also fell to the ground. 5. The shower adjus**ent knob seems convenient but is actually difficult to understand. It is inevitable to be showered with a lot of cold water first. The top shower leaks and has a rotten hole. 6. The disposable slippers are small and dirty, and should be cancelled. Repair the bathroom quickly!

The luckiest thing about this Guilin trip was booking this hotel! The location is impeccable; I was able to see the Two Rivers and Four Lakes, the Sun and Moon Twin Towers, and the riverside night view was absolutely stunning. The room was spotless, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, so I slept very soundly after a day of sightseeing. The receptionist at 019 was exceptionally attentive, proactively offering tips on avoiding tourist traps, recommending authentic local cuisine, and patiently helping with luggage storage. The stay was incredibly relaxing and a top choice for any trip to Guilin; I've already recommended it to friends!

Getting around by taxi was easy with minimal traffic delays, and there are plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby, making dining and getting around very convenient. Check-in was quick, and the front desk staff were very friendly and proactive, explaining the hotel's public facilities and breakfast times. They were happy to answer all my questions and responded promptly. The room itself was clean and tidy, with good natural light and ventilation. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, with no strange odors or water stains. The soundproofing was better than expected, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep without any disturbance from outside. Our room was spotless, the bedding incredibly comfortable, and the excellent soundproofing ensured a peaceful night's sleep, allowing us to wake up refreshed. I'm not a shill, and the hotel didn't ask me to write a good review. I'm a Trip.com Black Diamond member, and I average 50-70 nights in hotels each year. My good reviews are always written willingly, hahaha~ Alright, now that you've read my first sentence, you can check out my objective review. This trip was just my husband and I, no kids, but I'm really looking forward to bringing our son next time~ The hotel is incredibly kid-friendly~ They have a starry sky pool, a kids' play area, and the restaurant food is very clean. Right outside is the Shui'erdi Pier, which is where the bamboo raft drift for the Yulong River's essence section departs. The hotel's hardware, software, decor, and cleanliness are all five-star, absolutely nothing to complain about. The service attitude is incredibly good, truly up to five-star hotel standards, I'm not kidding, especially since I've stayed at Lux and can compare~ The rooftop cafe is perfect for photos~ The afternoon tea 🫖 is nice! Every time we returned to the hotel, the front desk would warmly greet us, asking if we were tired or where we'd been. The front desk小姐姐 (young lady) even gave me mosquito repellent spray, a small bag, and a souvenir, I was so touched. We slept wonderfully at night, the hotel's soundproofing is excellent. Compared to the Muyu we stayed at the day before, across from the Romance Park, for a similar price, Mengyuan is heavenly, and Muyu is on the ground. Muyu's 1000+ yuan room only offered a view of a massive construction site, which was truly speechless. The hotel can help book tickets, and they're much cheaper. The hotel also offers electric scooter rentals 🛵 which is very convenient~ It's lovely to ride to West Street or Kang Kang Tangshui Shop for some dessert in the evening. Yangshuo's beautiful scenery was made even more special by the hotel. A perfect trip heals all stress and anxiety~ Thank you, Mengyuan, for giving my husband and me a perfect romantic getaway. We will definitely bring our child next time~ I'll recommend it to all my friends. ♥️ If I had to mention one small area for improvement, it would be the breakfast; it could be slightly better.

I chose the Qiao CIAO Hotel for my short stay in Guilin, and its riverside location right by the Li River is absolutely fantastic! It's been raining lightly recently, and the infinity pool on the first floor looks incredibly inviting. The pool water seems to blend seamlessly with the outdoor mountain scenery, and a gentle breeze just makes you feel completely relaxed. I booked a twin room, and it was spacious and brand new. The lighting was warm and inviting, and there was a large bathtub – perfect for a relaxing soak after exploring the mountains and rivers, it really helped me unwind. You absolutely must try the Guilin rice noodles for breakfast. A warm bowl of it is incredibly satisfying, and you can add as many toppings as you like. There's also a good variety of fruits and pastries, so you can take your time and enjoy your meal without rushing. The ambiance, rooms, and breakfast were all excellent. This short trip was incredibly comfortable, and I'd definitely recommend considering this hotel if you're visiting Guilin!

I have to give a big shout-out to the hotel's Front Office team! I stayed here for four nights, and the facilities and service were impeccable. Even though the hotel has been around for a while, everything is incredibly well-maintained. The duty manager, Tommy Tang, was very enthusiastic and helpful. There were children jumping around upstairs, which was affecting my rest. Manager Tang handled my issue very seriously and responsibly, and made sure to properly hand it over so that the next day's duty manager, Luo Hongping, could help me resolve the problem perfectly and communicate effectively. The hotel's indoor and outdoor swimming pools are also very large, with comfortable water temperatures and crystal-clear water. Zhang Weiwei from the recreation center provided excellent service. Shangri-La will definitely be my top choice again in the future.

A special shout-out to the ladies working shifts on the 12th, 27th, and 21st (both day and night) for their exceptional service. This was my second stay here with friends, and once again, the hotel's service was attentive and super responsive. It offers excellent value for money and seems perfect for a vacation, business trip, or even a family getaway. The lobby is spacious and chic, with a distinct design style that's great for snapping photos. There's also a cozy lounge area where you can relax with friends, read a book, sip coffee, and chat – it's really pleasant. Since it was the off-season, they even upgraded our room for free! The large floor-to-ceiling windows were absolutely amazing; they let in so much natural light. Lying there during the day, you could see the rolling green hills in the distance and watch the clouds drift by – so therapeutic! The location was also really convenient for us as a stopover on our road trip to Yangshuo. Elephant Trunk Hill, Two Rivers and Four Lakes, and the Sun and Moon Pagodas are about 6 km away, and Yangshuo is just an hour's drive, making round trips super easy. The parking lot is huge and even has charging stations, so if you're driving, you don't have to worry at all. Plus, there's the Zengpiyan Site Museum just a 10-minute walk away, which is great for kids!

Such a shame I booked the hotel only to relax at the pool, but half day was closed and the other half was full of kids. Staff wasn’t very friendly either. Everytime I asked for something, they seemed to be bothered. Probably not used to foreigners. However, the breakfast and dinner buffet was absolutely great, rich and tasty (and food was not spicy).

This hotel offers exceptional service for its price point. Upon arrival, someone immediately assisted us with our luggage, and the lovely front desk staff escorted us to our room. I also have to commend the breakfast – the live kitchen cooked fresh dishes on the spot, with no shortcuts taken, and refills were prompt. We visited on a weekday, and they didn't compromise on food quality just because there were fewer guests. The rice noodles were delicious! Every breakfast item showcased local specialties while maintaining great flavor. They even had freshly grilled steaks, and the chefs were all smiles, which really brightened our day. It was very hot in Guilin in July, and my child spent an hour in the 5th-floor pool. They thoughtfully activated the wave machine for us! Even though the pool is small, it was perfectly adequate for kids to have fun, and they provided inner tubes and kickboards. The room itself was even better – we had a direct view of the Twin Pagodas. It rained that evening in Guilin, and the Twin Pagodas in the rain were absolutely stunning. The room offered views of the Twin Pagodas, the lake, and the surrounding mountains in the distance; the scenery was breathtaking! This will definitely be our first choice next time we visit Guilin!

The hotel is located right by Rong Lake, near the Two Rivers and Four Lakes scenic area, which is very quiet. In the mornings, you can hear birds chirping from the park. It's a 15-minute walk to the free Elephant Trunk Hill scenic area, and a 7-minute walk to see the Sun and Moon Pagodas at night, where you can also take a cruise. This location pretty much covers all the attractions in Guilin city. All the hotel staff were lovely, and I especially want to thank a female staff member or supervisor at the front desk – I'm not entirely sure which she was. It had been raining for days, and after checking out, we canceled our train to Yangshuo, fearing flooding and that we wouldn't be able to enjoy ourselves there. She told us that since we had traveled so far, we should still go and see it, as the scenery is beautiful and it doesn't rain constantly; we wouldn't know until we got there. So, we re-bought our tickets and went. She even helped us make a waterproof cover for our child's camera, which was incredibly thoughtful. When we got there, we found it hadn't rained for the past two days, and we were able to enjoy bamboo rafting and everything. The scenery truly was breathtaking, and it was definitely worth the trip! Coming all the way from Beijing, it certainly made our long journey worthwhile. We came here in a hurry this time and didn't plan anything, relying entirely on the information and advice from the front desk concierge. Their explanations made everything so much clearer. We'll definitely choose this place again for our next trip.

The staff were friendly and polite, patiently answering all my questions about directions. The hotel felt very secure, and the environment was quiet, giving me a strong sense of safety even when staying alone. Every little detail is carefully thought out to make your stay comfortable, relaxing, and stress-free The staff impressed me the most. They notice small details and truly care about guests. At first, I was surprised that even staff members I had never met before already knew my room number. It was a little funny and unexpected 😄 But like this you understand the high level of the service Everyone was so kind to me and always ready to help 🥺 Even if someone doesn’t speak English, they quickly use a translator and do their best to solve any problem The room is beautiful and very comfortable. The bed and pillows are probably one of my favorite parts of the stay - I honestly did not want to leave them! The room has everything you need for a relaxing stay, including nice Chinese tea, coffee, and many small details that make you feel at home like bath salt. Another very useful detail for travelers is the free self-service laundry. When you travel for a longer time, having a place where you can easily wash your clothes is a huge advantage The breakfast was also a wonderful surprise. The front desk even called us in advance to ask about our arrival time and thoughtfully turned on the air conditioning for us. After checking in, a staff member helped carry our luggage to the room. On the way, he explained all the hotel's facilities. The sky garden on the seventh floor is absolutely stunning 🤩, and I even caught the sunrise there the next morning, which was truly breathtaking. Watching the Xiaoyao Tower from the sky garden at night is incredibly beautiful. The hotel's gym and laundry room are well-equipped, and the laundry room even has an ironing machine, which is a big plus! The room's interior has a retro-chic decor style, augmented with smart room controls, giving it a simple yet grand feel.
