OK this place was everything! But.. you have to chose your room right. My SIL hated her ”offsite” little townhouse. It was outdated and far away from main hotel. The hotel was quick to accommodate her complaint and moved her to a large suite at the main hotel. I booked a cabana room for my little family and loved it! We were close to everything and my baby could nap in the room while the family enjoyed the pool and I stayed near to everyone on our porch. It was a great ”homebase” for our large group to have and well worth the splurge. We had the worst family staying next to us with babies who screamed all night. we also have two babies so we were compassionate but it really was awful to hear them cry nonstop. those same babies then pooped in the pool (multiple times) causing them to have to close it on the busy father day weekend. The dolphins were way beyond what I expected - so so impressive! The lagoon was amazing since the pool was often closed due to poop. The kids splash pad was so fun but we were really bummed they didn't have food service. Lame, considering the pandemic ended years ago here in FL.. Also, the iguanas were kind of cool but mostly annoying. They scared my toddler and pooped all over our nice cabana porch, ate our food and were very territorial. There were way too many of them. Place was booming bc it was fathers day weekend but people were nice and staff was great, especially valet guys. They definitely need more golf carts going from main hotel to splash pad because lugging two babies and kids bags, even though it was a short distance, was tough. They messed our bill up and it never got fixed but I didnt have the energy to fight it so make sure you check that when you leave. I hope they offer good FL discounts for locals soon.
