The hotel is ideally located right in the heart of Rennes' old town, perfect for exploring on foot. Parking is convenient, with a paid underground car park accessible 24/7. Just a heads-up: the market is held in Place des Lices every Saturday. After passing through a quiet inner courtyard (where you can also enjoy a drink), you'll reach the check-in desk. The welcome was perfectly professional, much like what you'd expect from a Mama Shelter hotel. The room is spacious and features modern decor. An umbrella is provided (which can certainly come in handy in Brittany!), but there are no facilities for coffee, tea, or hot beverages. There's a mini-fridge with two bottles of water and a safe. Please note that a €50 per day deposit is charged immediately and refunded within a few days after your departure.

The lady at the front desk is very enthusiastic and has a slight accent in English. We drove here by car and it was a bit difficult to find the hotel entrance. There is one near the parking lot The room facilities are all OK and the smell is very good

There were no amenities whatsoever, and the room walls were so thin that I could hear footsteps in the hallway and conversations from other rooms, making it very noisy. It's convenient if you're traveling by train since it's right in front of Rennes station. The reception staff didn't speak any English, only French.

Very pleasant stay at the hotel, the room is lovely and clean. The parking is extremely safe and secure. The service by a man named Christof was excellent. Our only issue was the TV not working properly, but overall we had a great stay.

The hotel is close to the city centre, with a 10-15 minutes walk. We reserved a car parking within the hotel garage, which is safe and free. The room is spacious and clean. Breakfast has good variety. There is a small gymnasium room with treadmill and bicycle. Staff are friendly. Walking ~ 15 -20 minutes can access the tourist spots like the Cathédrale Saint-Pierre, canal, Musée des Beaux-Arts de Rennes and high street restaurants and shops. Overall excellent stay.

I really enjoyed this Ibis. All the basic amenities are there: a clean bathroom (no mold!), a comfortable bed, thick curtains so you can sleep in longer, and breakfasts that, while not very varied, are certainly filling. The air conditioning worked perfectly. We were grateful that we were able to have breakfast earlier than usual as we had an early departure. The hotel's location might be a bit of a drawback compared to the city center, but if your goal is to explore the surrounding areas, having the train and bus stations within walking distance is fantastic! The kind staff at the front desk are also worth a mention. With all these positives, the hotel is also a budget-friendly option (80 euros per night for two, including breakfast). Everything was excellent! I recommend this hotel.

Good location, excellent surroundings, fairly large rooms, no separation of wet and dry areas, spacious lobby, acceptable hygiene, but mediocre service. I wonder if they do not approve of guests who make multiple reservations but only stay for one night, and will ignore them even if they are notified of their needs many days in advance.

The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable.

The room was quite good for the price. The only thing to note was that we had to wait at the reception quite long, the luggage storage is in the staircase, I think it could be safer. The walls are a little thin that people could hear in the walking. Our room was directed towards the street, but with roller wands it was not sound.
