We had a great stay, location is good when you have a rental car to drive to close places. They have good restaurants nearby which are walkable. Staff is really friendly. Big plus: They have a free public washing room for hotel guests including dryer, just make sure to have or buy some detergent.

This was our first stay at a Swiss Belhotel group property and we were so impressed that it has got us looking for more properties owned by the group. Excellent value for money. Rooms are modern and comfortable with every amenity available that one could desire. Relatively close to the airport. Plenty of free parking is available.

We stayed for three nights, the room was clean and spacious, the breakfast was rich and varied, and we were surprised to have three dozen fish and monkey peaches. The elevator leads to Grand Mall, which has supermarkets and restaurants, clothing, etc. Every waiter is very warm and thoughtful. But the taxi outside the hotel is twice as expensive as the taxi downstairs, which brings us inconvenience. Breakfast number one

Ive choosen this place cause its central, easy to access and 24h check in. The room been spacious, clean, comfortable beds, complimentary coffee and dates in lounge. They been helpful to organise a taxi for local prices to the airport. Very polite and friendly staff. The breakfast been compared to other hotels in Muscat a bit pale. But I would still recommend it.

A pleasant, cozy hotel in a convenient area. It's a 10-minute walk to the Ruwi bus station. A bit dated, but still comfortable. Good price, and hearty, varied breakfasts. In our room, the TV tuner wasn't working, and the refrigerator and TV outlets were swapped (the fridge would turn off during the day when I left the room, I only noticed in the evening that it hadn't been working all day). There was a very unpleasant incident at breakfast on December 15th with a staff member wearing glasses. I arrived a bit earlier than my friend for breakfast, gave room number 415, and mentioned that my friend would join me in 5 minutes. When my friend arrived, the staff member asked for his room number. My friend couldn't remember it and was trying to check his card when the staff member's phone rang. He answered the phone, completely ignoring my friend. My friend stood waiting for several minutes while the staff member talked on the phone. Another staff member eventually invited him to breakfast. Later, the same staff member approached our table and announced that breakfast ended at 10:30, then started taking my friend's plate while he was still eating. Only after I told him we would be done within five minutes did he leave our table. I've never experienced such disrespect for guests. Usually, at other hotels, when breakfast ends, they close the buffet but guests are calmly allowed to finish what they've already taken; no one is rushed out. However, there were no such incidents on the following days, and we finished breakfast before 10:40. All other staff members were very polite; I don't know what caused that specific behavior.

The hotel room was very clean, with a daily supply of water, coffee and tea. Breakfast was also great with a wide range of choices. The best part was the amazing rooftop swimming pool. Super cool! Very kind and helpful staff 😊

The room was nice and very close to the airport, which made getting around convenient. It's really suitable for a layover stay. I'd consider this hotel again for my next business trip; it's a solid choice, and it really holds its own based on its merits!

It was unfortunate we couldn’t get to check in earlier because we arrived earlier so we stayed at the lobby for 9-10 hours despite many emails sent to give them a heads up. Overall our stay was decent. Breakfast was good and service was good too.

I was half an hour late checking out, and during that time a staff member was sent to check the room, but I was praying. Later, the management was informed, and I was falsely accused of smoking in the room, with a warning issued, despite my explanation. It was also mentioned that a service worker knocked on the door and it wasn't opened, and I was asked to pay a fee for it. I consider this behavior evidence of mistreatment and dissatisfaction with the level of service, especially from the Indian hotel manager.

location good. near some fast food eateries. hotel breakfast was good but needs a bit more variety - i stayed for 3 nights so the dishes were almost the same every day. My room was comfortable. unfortunately my view was not great (another building). there were a lot of bugs (like flies) in the bathroom because there is poor air circulation. suggestion: please have clothes hangers that can be used in the bathroom. Some hooks o the wall would be useful for coats/jackets. the lady at the reception when i checked in wasn't warm or friendly. she had a neutral face. no warm greeting or friendliness that i would expect from a frontline hotel staff. she also was there when i checked out - she was on the phone and just gestured for me to drop my key card in the box. no ”thank you”, or ”bye” or anything. nobody helped me with my luggage when i checked out. my van pickup was blocked by a parked car so i had to use the steps (and not the ramp). it would be nice if there was someone from the hotel to assist. there was a male staff who helped me when my key card did not work on 14 September 2025. He was very helpful, warm and actually accompanied me to my room to check the card. good service! overall, good stay. would definitely return if come back to Muscat.
