The check in was a little bit chaotic- but this was mainly down to other customers not respecting others and was being quiet rude and forceful with their de***ds to the staff. However, they were kinda and calm to everyone which was nice. Additionally, the staff in the restaurants were very helpful and friendly and the food was nice. The bedroom is basic but very clean and has everything you need in it.

Unfortunately disappointing experience. The hotel is quite expensive, but imho it shouldn’t be such expensive. On the territory of the hotel is the renovation of some houses. The cottage house looks tired, the water was licking from the bathroom to the bed, the furniture is old. The swimming pool is ok. The breakfast is good, unfortunately they don’t have coffee machine. The service is good. The wifi is not working in the room.

Helped solve all the issues with settlement, settled in this hotel including for his participation and good-welcoming relationship! The location of the hotel is good, the rooms are comfortable. The pool is small - if you want to choose a hotel for swimming in the pool, you are not here. In general, the hotel recommends, the location is convenient, in the center, near shops and restaurants, close to the beach

I am glad I've changed my decision to stay at some random hotel and to stay at the ”Piggy Hostel”, i had a four night stay and was never bored of the environment there. Have to mention about the hospitality showcased by Neha, Sangam, Philip, Abheer and Chef Ankita. The staff over there are so friendly and have helped me throughout the stay to explore Goa. You also get to meet new people in dormitory which is cleanly maintained and sanitised before your stay. Even the private rooms are of affordable rates. But if travelling solo, the dormitory is the place to be. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Calangute! PS: the beaches are nearby!

Our family of three stayed here. The location is not bad, just off the main street, with a wonderful cafe nearby, right across from the apartment. However, this room isn't designed for two adults and one teenager, much less the three-adult room advertised. The apartment has one king-size bed and a sofa that doesn't fold out in any way; it's only suitable for sitting. My 145 cm tall child barely fits in there, and it's very uncomfortable to sleep on. They offer an extra bed for 750 rupees per night, and it's just a mattress thrown on the floor (photo of the mattress is attached). The apartment itself isn't small, but it's tired. The windows are sorely lacking curtains; there are only curtains, so you can't open them because you can see right into the neighboring rooms. The windows are very dirty. The pool is nice, but pigeons have completely destroyed all the sun loungers and towels. The staff tries to clean it right away, but it doesn't help; it's not very pleasant to lie next to pigeon droppings. The apartments are cleaned upon request, so there's no problem with that. The staff is generally very friendly and goes out of their way. Another big surprise for us was the presence of red cockroaches; we encountered them for the first time in Goa.

The hotel is done up to a nice standard. The reception, hallways and pool are lovely. The room was also a nice. We had a few issues with the room itself, the WiFi and the gym. The room had a damp feel to it and some of our things and the bed sheets felt wet a lot of the time.  The gym was not up to date and not in use. We couldn’t even use some of the equipment.  The WiFi did not work. We could not connect and when we did, it was slower than slow. The service was really nice and the staff were very friendly.

The property and the stay was good, but the staff was overlooking and over working. The bathroom and washbasin had hair clogged. Taps were shaking and cobwebs all over. No towels were there and when asked they gave a pair which was leaving follicles, when asked for change they asked for the old towel 1st once given then they gave a new pair. Upon check out the moment we left the room the staff immediately went to check if their things were in place before we left the hotel.

The hotel is on a side street, which makes it a little quieter at night. When I was there, it was mostly Indian and English people. The breakfast is not really for European tastes. *** can order eggs in any form, but otherwise it looks poor. It didn't bother me, though. The rooms are great. You have a living room, bedroom, bathroom, and fridge. The prices for food and drink are not excessively higher than outside. And it's not far from the beach. *** just shouldn't trust Google because there are lots of small alleys that take you on a shortcut. I felt very comfortable, which was also helped by the super friendly staff and management.

Везде очень чисто, уборка в номере регулярно и очень хорошо. Территория отеля, бассейн в полном порядке, очень красиво: зелень, цветы. Атмосфера в отеле спокойная, доброжелательная, уважительная.Завтраки вкусные, в основном индийская еда,но можно всегда найти что-то для себя. Голодными никто не останется... Фрукты свежие и разные каждый день, не одно и тоже. Завтраки, в общем ,на высшем уровне! Особенно хочется отметить работу менеджера Габриэля. Он нас встречал, все рассказал по отелю. В дальнейшем оказал сразу же содействие в решении по замене холодильника и чайника. В общем, без лишних вопросов, все очень быстро сделали. И все очень доброжелательно с теплотой в отношении. Прекрасный человек! Очень добрый, внимательный и профессионал в своей работе! Желаю процветания отелю! Так держать и в дальнейшем. Обязательно вернёмся снова и именно в этот отель! A great hotel, perhaps the best in Goa and certainly the best in Calangute. The location is superb, right on the beach, with loungers under palm trees, reminiscent of hotels in the Caribbean or Thailand. It's hard to find another hotel in Goa of this standard. The hotel grounds are abundant with greenery, so you practically don't feel the heat, and you can spot plenty of birds and squirrels. The rooms are clean, cleaned daily (upon request), well-appointed, with daily water, tea, toiletries, etc. The restaurant is right on the beach, so you can eat and enjoy the view. Breakfast could be more varied, as it's the same every day, and the selection is average. However, lunch and dinner are fantastic. Truly excellent Indian cuisine, everything perfectly prepared and seasoned, and served at very reasonable prices, not much higher than average street restaurants. The staff is a special treat in itself. They are excellent, helpful in every respect, and respond quickly to all requests. It's clear that the staff are thoroughly instructed and properly supervised. From talking with the staff, it was clear that most of them have been working here for many years. By the way, in the small hotel restaurant, I counted at least 16 waiters, responding immediately to every request. Importantly, there's no blaring music in the hotel, nor are there any silly entertainment programs. And one more thing – compared to other places in Goa, there aren't many visitors from countries where you pay in rubles. Does the hotel have any flaws? Yes, but they don't detract from the overall excellent rating. Firstly, if you get a poolside room starting with number 9, ask to be upgraded to a room on the other side of the pool. Rooms starting with number 9 have direct sunlight all day, so there's no way I could sit in a chair by the entrance to the room. Secondly, some of the furnishings (especially the restaurant tables) need replacing. The worst part about the hotel is the proximity to the beachfront restaurant, where loud music can drown out the hotel restaurant's solid music in the evenings. But there's nothing you can do about your neighbor, and fortunately, according to Goa regulations, guests are required to turn off the music at 10 PM.

We lived in this hotel together with my son from 25.12.2025 to 02.01.2026. The settlement passed quickly. The room is large, on the 2nd floor with a balcony. The room has all the necessary facilities, good bedding and clean white towels. The water and other ingredients were supplied daily. The room is clean. The hotel location is convenient, like in the center of Calangun, but just deep from the central road, so the hotel is quiet and well. The food in the hotel was not taken. Nearby, literally 10 meters away is KFC, and just a little far from McDonald's. The prices in them are cheap, which was very convenient. The hotel staff is very good, polite, you can see that they are trying to help guests to make the time spent in the hotel positive. Calangun Beach is about 15 minutes walk from the hotel. In general, the hotel is good, the optimal combination of price and quality. On the right side of the hotel is building some building, but noise, dust, etc. , there was no construction, at least we never stopped it. Anyone who wants silence and relaxation can quietly recommend this hotel. It's worth its money. We and my son enjoyed staying in this hotel.

В отеле чисто, приятно находится. Убираются каждый день. Мент полотенца. Брали несколько раз завтрак шведский стол. Но больше индийской еды. Но в целом хороший завтрак. Официанты молодцы. Быстро убирали, подносили напитки. Отель современный. Всегда была горячая вода. Хорошая техника. Был телевизор и youtube, приятно порадовали. Из минусов только плохая звукоизоляция. Если у вас шумные соседи с детьми, очень слышно. Однозначно рекомендую отель.

In an area dotted with hotels and lodges, the first thing that attracts your attention to Sairaj Beach Resort is its bright yellow colour. Less than a year old (it opened in 2020), it has all the facilities of costly five stars, but is much more pocket friendly! Rooms are spacious, though not huge, and the food spread is tasty and adequate, though not lavish. The staff are friendly and try to make the stay comfortable. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk to Calagunte beach and other attractions like Baga beach and Fort Aguada are within 15-20 minutes drive (***y options to hire bikes or cars nearby). Overall, a very good hotel for a Goan holiday!

We lived in this hotel together with my son from 25.12.2025 to 02.01.2026. The settlement passed quickly. The room is large, on the 2nd floor with a balcony. The room has all the necessary facilities, good bedding and clean white towels. The water and other ingredients were supplied daily. The room is clean. The hotel location is convenient, like in the center of Calangun, but just deep from the central road, so the hotel is quiet and well. The food in the hotel was not taken. Nearby, literally 10 meters away is KFC, and just a little far from McDonald's. The prices in them are cheap, which was very convenient. The hotel staff is very good, polite, you can see that they are trying to help guests to make the time spent in the hotel positive. Calangun Beach is about 15 minutes walk from the hotel. In general, the hotel is good, the optimal combination of price and quality. On the right side of the hotel is building some building, but noise, dust, etc. , there was no construction, at least we never stopped it. Anyone who wants silence and relaxation can quietly recommend this hotel. It's worth its money. We and my son enjoyed staying in this hotel.

The hotel is done up to a nice standard. The reception, hallways and pool are lovely. The room was also a nice. We had a few issues with the room itself, the WiFi and the gym. The room had a damp feel to it and some of our things and the bed sheets felt wet a lot of the time.  The gym was not up to date and not in use. We couldn’t even use some of the equipment.  The WiFi did not work. We could not connect and when we did, it was slower than slow. The service was really nice and the staff were very friendly.

All staff were great. Facilities were great. Housekeeping gave us mosquito repellent so we could sleep peacefully. Rooms were spacious and clean. Only issue was during breakfast as it is quite chaotic, but I would blame the guests for that as many don't have common courtesy. Some are picking food with their fingers directly from the buffet and not using utensils provided. Some are standing close to the buffet and eating their meals without any concern for other guests. Overall a great stay and would definitely stay again.
